Uh, yeah. You're quoting the *Six Flags* site. That's the Lemon Chill guy of the internet, practically.

Try the RCDB.
You're very, very wrong. Those stats are for Joker's Jinx, not Two Face.

As far as I know Dr., I don't remember any urinal cakes at SFA, but the bathrooms still smell fine. Regardless of how many people were on the ride, it would suck big time to be in the facing down position for two hours, not to mention if nature called. The lifthill, as anyone knows who has been on an Invertigo, is extremely steep. This is not the first time that I've seen them have to bring the train back into the station slowly. They just put the train back together recently also. The news mentioned a bunch of people wearing blue shirts, that they assumed were paramedics. I can tell you that first aid wears a gray shirt with red trim, who I saw in the live shot. So I'm thinking the blue shirts were maintenance. The real question is why didn't they cover the evacuation of Iron Eagle (Zamperla Rotoshake) last week?

I can't tell you the number of times back in 1988 when I was working the Goldrusher at Carowinds and we had a set up/stacking and news crews were crawling all over the ride. Oh yea I can zero.

While I'm sure it was uncomfortable up there, it's hardly news outside of maybe a small blurb on the local station.

OH andd 1 more thing..........

Maybe someone should send an e-mail out to the local stations mentioning Iron eagle's breakdown last week, although in one of the live shots I happened to see IE in the background & it didn't appear to be operatiing at all.
"A Thill Ride turns to terror at 11" Is there really that much terror about being stuck on a lift. I had to get evacuated from Batman: The Ride but I got no recognition;)

Edit: Question Removed.

I knew it was a slow news day when the local NBC channel here in Pittsburgh claimed it was breaking news at about 10 to six.
I remember when they did this when a train got stuck on Titan's lift hill last year and they had a walk-down. It was a joke, they newslady made it seem like people were about to die. Stupid Fox News and MSNBC....

Next on Fox: Being stuck on roller coasters linked to health complications and are roller coasters really safe?!?!?!?!

Here's the chopper video from the local NBC station.

Well when Titan got stuck on the lift it was easy to evacuate the train,on an invertigo it's a different story because the idiots at vekoma didn't put a walkway under the lift, the same thing goes for their SLC's.

B&M on the other hand was smart enough to engineer a platform under the entire length of the lift on their inverted coasters so that in the rare case of a train stopping in that position it can be unloaded safely & efficiently, also the unusual positioning of the passengers & the 55 degree angle of the invertigo lift would still make unloading the train very difficult from that position.

Did anyone see the follow up report on fox 5's 10 pm newscast? they interviewed a few people who were stuck on the ride & they were pretty upset about it,one woman even had severe swelling on her feet from being stuck in that position for two hours in the hot weather & the media can't even get within camera range of the park right now because park management wants to try to keep a tight lid on the situation until an investigation has been completed.

One official did say however that the malfunction was probably caused by a hydraulic problem which caused the brakes at the top of the lift to remain closed which explains why the train was stuck in the first place.

I hate how News stations make these things sound like they are huge amazing things that happen. Coasters valley all the time. They make it breaking news just to attract viewers who here a "rollercoaster stops in the middle of the ride stranding riders" and get all excited.
Well I am a dr. of urinel cakes. It was a joke to emphasize how wrong the media can be.

Y'know not many people get excited about these types of things...However from the amount of responses on this board, I'd say the media's done it's job.:)

Ummm sorry but the page has Joker's Jinx info like we said before it is 138 feet tall. So sorry to be a pain, but he was right it's 138.
