Twisted Rails posts video of X in action

Posted | Contributed by Karl DeAngelo

I've been very lucky recently, getting to witness the first test run of X, and now watching it in the daylight and being able to record it for everyone. So far, everything seems to be working as it should for X. The wait shouldn't be too much longer.

If X is smooth, fast and scary, I wouldn't care if it were just the drop.

BTW, Oblivion has a ride time of about 14 seconds. Hypersonic about 15 seconds, and Volcano about 30 seconds. Each of the prototypes as well. Stealth has about the same ride time as X.

I'd like a tall CCI out and back, and a grande nonfat Latte to go please!
I can not wait till I ride X. To bad I am skipping CoasterCon there because my family made plans to go to Mrytle Beach that same week. ;)
OK, so is anyone else besides me trying to get the heck out of Texas in time for X's media day and/or opening weekend? I'm a desperate man, so I'll do just about ANYTHING to get to it before anyone else... Name your price! I hear that Arrow has a contract to build at least 2 more 4D's for Six Flags, and SFFT is one of the favorites in the race of hopefuls, but I don't want to wait until we finally get one somewhere around here. I want to ride X right now! I am very optimistic about the possibilities of SFFT getting one though. Just think how cool that first drop would be if it was right next to a limestone cliff wall! A Texas X could totally blow SFMM's X away! Sigh... if only all of Six Flags' X's lived in Texas!
A special thank you from all the employees at Arrow to ACN aand Twisted Rails, we love your coverage. For most of us, your websites are the only way we get to see the fruits of our labors.
Gosh it is all so exciting.

X will put every roller coaster ever built to shame!!
