TTD: How long would you wait?

But Cedar Point guests go to CP for the biggest and baddest coasters around. Knott's guests do not. That's why I think TTD will have hellalong lines no matter how tall it is.

Just my $.02

I think the line will be long but constantly moving. I would like to be one of the first people to ride it. I'm going to get to the Magnum entrance really early so I can be the first person there. I'm also gonna try to get front row. If I'm on the first train and the front's taken I'll take one of the other seven rows. Either way, I'll be riding it opening day.

About the lines, like I said, I think they will be constantly moving. However it will definately be VERY long. I'd say on opening day the line could be 2 hours even with it moving smoothly and no breakdowns. Let's not get into breakdowns please...

Well considering I have a backdoor pass to ttd, I wont have to wait that long

That isn't really relevant to this thread, though, CoasterJunky. Anyone would think that the only purpose in you posting that was to brag!

You're right. People in California only like coasters that are under 200 feet tall and less than 50 MPH. ;) I think what you meant to say is that at CP, people expect them to build record-breaking rides, while at Knott's that really isn't the case.

As for Xcelerator having a short wait, there are a few very good reasons.

-The ride is 30 seconds long! Compare that to Ghostrider, which runs the same number of trains but has a 2.5 minute ride duration

-Xcelerator has the best ride crew in the park. Plain and simple, they chose the best of the best and put them on this ride. As such, they can load up a train very quickly and efficiently.

-Xcelerator has twice as many ride ops as does Ghostrider. That makes a huge difference!

So anyway, that is why Xcelerator has shorter lines than Ghostrider. Any questions? :)

Lol @ Marcus, not trying to brag. Actaully when millie first came out I heard someone waiting up to 5 hrs to ride it. I think ttd will be a longer wait. But thats only my opinion.
