TTD: How long would you wait?

I am just wondering when this ride opens how long are you people going to wait? I could definetely see waiting 4-5 hours to ride this, and if Cedar Fair was smart they might place carts next to the long line when the park opens, kind of like the Eagle's Kiosk at SFGAm

40 thousand million hours, probably. This actually has been discussed before, and the general consensus seems to be that wait will not be *too* long. With six trains the line should be constantly moving.

I'd wait as long as it took....once. After the first ride, no more than about an hour. But that's a general rule of thumb I use for most coasters.

What is this Kiosk thing he speaks of ?

Personally, I hope the line is outrageously long. Why you ask? Because the one time I've been to CP (last weekend of regualar hours 2001) Raptor was down, Mantis was running one train with ridiculous wait times, and Millenium Force was stuck at the top of the lift hill. AAAARRGGHH!!! And of course Wicked Twister was just starting to arrive in pieces. It's okay though. This summer I will have my revenge!! HAHAHAHA! So while everyone else is waiting to ride TTD during the week I'm there I'll be riding the "still new to me" coasters that I didn't get to hit 2 years ago! Sure, I'll hit TTD whenever the line may be a little shorter but I'm kinda hoping that the queue(sp?) is FULL to make my waits shorter.... Sorry guys!

Actually, all the lines will be shorter. Especially in the morning.

Generally, I follow 'Moosh's rule....the excpetion thus far has been X. Otherwise, an hour is about my tolerance limit for "used" coasters...;)
If I go on opening day and only get to ride TTD I'll be cool with that. Although I can't exactly see the line taking an entire day, unless of course they are having some serious mantainence problems.

I'll let you know in a couple years when I get back to CP.

I generally won't wait more than an hour for anything, 'new' or 'old' anymore.

chris, only waited an hour for X with Fast/Speed/Pass/Lane.

M:TR may be *old*, but the line is SO short you won't need to worry about virtual queueing...;)

Gator,

The line is short because it has so much downtime due to problems with the launch sequence... ;)

The latest rumors indicate Viagra has agreed to sponsor M:TR for the 2003 season, so capacity should go way up.

Is TTD's capacity going to be better than MF's? If not, I wouldn't expect lines to be shorter than MF's opening season.

Hrm...I would have figured that would make M:TR longer in duration...not improve capacity...

I could be wrong, though.

I don't wait much longer than an hour for any coaster unless it's a park I may not get back to anytime soon and absolutely HAVE to ride a certain coaster. Since CP is my home park, I won't wait in a long line. I expect I'll have a short wait with the Joe Cool ERT

Hey, I played *the boy in the barrel* yesterday....it doesn't HAVE to be Moosh, but my turn doesn't come around again for about a week or so...;)....talk about ERT!
Donny, he said that yesterday... Today it's back to the regularly scheduled Moosh teasing...
