But I made it to the hotel tonight after only looking at the directions once before we left.

Plus 10 man points.

I'll try to spit and scratch myself a lot tomorrow to make up the rest. :)

That really doesn't add points since you're expected to do that.

Make her say 'Gonch', then you've got all the points back.

<----who watches Housewives every now and then but misses Sex and The City and Melrose Place (and Nip Tuck for that matter).

Directions? What are those?

I always wanted to see the show with segments on Dragster, SWAT, etc. I know a SFAW fan site posted the SWAT part, but I'd love to see the whole thing. Don't know what the show is called, but is it available online or coming on anytime soon?
just to let you guys tomorrow morning's show is on at 9 cst, 10 est. And it's listed as "World's Best" in TV guides.

Yea, it was a rerun, but a good one. It was old though, no TTD.

Knoebels- 4/28

My brother watched the show and said it's just more cookie-cutter material that we have all seen about a million times. He recorded it. The only coaster I want to see a closer look at is Dominatrix...err....Dominator.
Americas Coolest Coasters were quite recent...at least 2004 they mentioned Dominator at GEAUGA LAKE which means after Cedar Fair purchased it as one of two americas coolest floorless coasters (the other floorless was Medusa) It was quite fun, I think they could choose some other better coasters. It wasn't terrible. I'd give at least 5 man points for Gonch getting directions. your still -10 Gonch. ;)
Willh51,

I was just thinking about that episode the other day, and if I find it I'll let you know! I have so many tapes of coaster shows (and only about half are labeled...I've been procrastinating for about a year on that one!). As I've been going through these tapes though I believe my geek ratio must be rising, (which will help out Gonch for sure!).

Also, I would love to see a special(s) on European coasters/parks. Just seeing a lot of video on-line of those places in Europe, and they look awesome.

THIS IS PART 2 OF TRAVEL CHANNEL'S UPCOMING SHOWS, (THROUGH JULY 13th, 2005)

June 27th - America's Best Waterparks - 10am EST (I didn't know about this previously, but for anybody who didn't see it the first three times...here's another chance.)

Everything from here on is new, (not on the original schedule at the beginning of this thread). Not everything is about coasters, parks, and rides. But everything is related in some way to the amusement world. Remember! All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST), and all shows are on the Travel Channel. Enjoy!

June 28th - Disney's Grand Californian Hotel - 11am (This show immediately follows Inside WDW : Paris)

June 28th - Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - 3pm

June 29th - Made In America - Carousel Magic - 2:30am...If you've never seen this show it's hosted by John Ratzenberger (The mailman/trivia God from Cheers).

July 1st - Inside Universal's Hard Rock Orlando - 10:00am

July 4th - Fireworks Across America - 9:00am

July 12th - Disney's Imagineers - 10:00am

3-Hour Block of Disney/Dollywood

July 13th - Disney's Animal Kingdom - 4:00pm

July 13th - Dollywood - 5:00pm...This show is nearly played on a weekly basis, but it is pre-Thunderhead.

Some of those will be worth seeing. I'm really kinda tired of the Disney stuff, theres only so much to see. I've seem most of those, and they are usually repeats...I've seen the Disney ones once or at least twice....now the others...I'm willing to watch.
The picking are thin for coaster/amusement shows, just like the past couple of years. It's rare to get a brand new show! That's why I listed such a general variety of shows, (basically anything slightly related to parks, even with the Hard Rock show, just because it's on Universals property!).

What can I say...I'm having withdraws, and it's coaster season! To me, that's bad.

Withdrawl is the worst symptom of Amuesment Madness! ;)
