The first thing we did was grab a picture with Cosmo on the way to Fascination, which I just had to play since I had never got a chance to before. Wow, is this game addicting or what?

LOL...told ya! BEST. GAME. EVAH! All it takes is one Cover-All game and you're addicted ;)

I ended up spending almost $10 and even though I didn’t win anything, I was so caught up in the mindless thrill of rolling balls into a bunch of holes.

I drop at least $20 in the Fascination parlor each time I'm at the park, LOL!

Matthew came in with a lot of his friends that dressed up as the Fascination game for the costume contest and they looked fantastic.

Thanks! Those plastic helmuts were a riot. Each time a large rain drop hit it sounded like someone had pelted us with a small pebble. Scared the hell out of me when it first happened and I turned to see who'd thrown something at me!

Jim in full costume and his inspiration.

Dawn and I really wanted one of their shirts even if the little stickers on the front were flying off all night and screaming infidelities all over Knoebels. Did everyone have their own little dot by the end of the event? We were still finding them around Phoenix the next day.

Those stickers were all over the park Sunday. People kept pointing them out to us. There was a silver one in a urinal in the men's room next to Phoenix. LOL!

Good job guys on getting second place in the group contest!

Thanks...all the credit goes to Jim and Amanda for coming up with the idea and bringing it to fruitition

Oh..and check out this hi-larious photo. No, this was not staged ;)

Frank and Craig stopped by and there was some band talk going on after Moosh handed out his second volume of the PPP Pilgrimage mix CD, which includes great tracks by Hot Hot Heat, Gorillaz, Death Cab for Cutie (Plans may be one of, if not the best CD of the year), Coldplay, Scissor Sisters, Beck, and The White Stripes.

I can't get Death Cab's "Plans" out of my CD player. I think it *is* the best CD of the year!

Like the previous entry, this is one of the best “soundtracks” I’ve heard with this being the soundtrack of the PPP drive and experience. Garden State lovers eat your heart out.

Thanks for the great review, Danny! Choosing the songs is the hardest part of the entire process and its nice to get some good feedback. I'm considering doing a disc for Solace, too.

I saw that sticker, Moosh-- from about 3 feet above. I figured that either one of the Fascination crew was shedding or for some reason that urinal had won a prize. Hopefully, no one decided to go to PPP as Knoebel's restroom fixtures. :)

I don't know which made me laugh more, seeing that, or the kid in the Reaper costume who was talking to me while I was, um seeing a man about a horse. The guy with him (his dad I assume) said, "Now don't be bothering the man while he's trying to pee." Somehow that just fit in with the whole surreal day.

Danny, aren't Brunswick cops the greatest?

If you're from a diffrent town (I'm from Wadsworth) and they find a way to hassle you out of your hard earned cash, they will.

I remember getting caught up in a speed trap on the way home from a super bowl party where I was clearly not doing anything wrong - the speed limit changed from 55 to 35 on the other side of a hill and I was braking to slow down, etc... Well, they had a cop sitting on the 55 side of the hill with his radar gun on, and another cop on the other side of the hill pulling people over. They clocked me in the 55 zone and pulled me over in the 35 - smart cops.

Long story short, I got a ticket for $150 for going "54 in a 35" and it was in mayor's court so I didn't even bother fighting it.

Matthew, my first game was a three ball cover-all game and some sick worker must have known I was walking in the parlor right about that time. I'm sure more money will be set aside for the game on my next visit. Doesn't Indiana Beach have one of these as well? I have to go! Love the "hi-larious" photo! If you guys all suddenly turned around at once, you probably would have had a mad rush of people "sitting down at you" and laying down the money. Atleast if someone was throwing something at you, you were using protection. Good boy! ;)

I'm glad I kept egging Dawn on to sit down and listen to the CD on her trips. I knew she had listened through a time or two, but I wasn't satisfied until she told me she was falling for it. Do a disk for Solace and I'll try to get a fresh mix of treasures I hope you've never heard before in the mail soon. Your hard work with this has been really appreciated, so be proud. We all have such delicious tastes.

Josh, I have a couple friends from OSU who were from Wadsworth. This cop was a joke though who thought he was some super trooper too. I'm sorry they did that and it really was annoying for backing the time up more than they already did. I'll try to meet up with Kristin via the Medina exit from now on and hope they're not like that.

3-Ball coverall? At Knoebels? You sure? And yes, Indiana Beach has Fascination, too.
Maybe not.. I was totally using three balls though. I blame Dawn for saying "Grab that ball!" if I'm wrong and she was under the assumption I didn't have a ball in my hand. *sketchy eyes* =p

Um, yeah...its 2-ball coverall at Knoebels ;)
I'm just going to shut my mouth now...

Baahahaha! You totally regret visiting this thread more than once now Matt! A lot of us do though, but I know everyone probably had to break up reading this along with Rob and Tina's uber long pieces. Our punishment is your entertainment. No S&M jokes please. We can save that for whenever I bring up how I love Son of Beast, Viper at Great Adventure, and Zamperla Flyers. =p

Tina's uber long pieces? Need I ask?

No, we did get a game of 3-ball cover all. Be jealous. :)

"Want to be upside down, maybe thrown from side to side" - The New Pornographers, The Fake Headlines

Lucky me with Dawnmarie! I don't feel so silly now.

Matt, you totally must have missed that episode of Nip/Tuck. Tina's packing some extra heat now. So the story comes full circle with why Clint gets hot and bothered in West Virginia and we have to keep him away from her. =p

Fascination...Urination...there's got to be rap lyric possibilities there? ;)

Though you guys look more like Devo there.

You write the rap Mike and I'll be the urinal with all the possible things in it for the next PPP. Someone can be a toilet seat salesman and we can rack up points for how much we get used. Promise it'll be fun. ;)

Ya know, as I finished reading this TR, something occurred to me.....THIS is why I don't write TRs, I'm just not able to "keep it together" and stay on topic long enough. Great job Danny!

Gary and I left Dorney *just about* the same time as you were arriving....and we arrived at about the same time as "the other Midwesterner clan" was leaving...LOL!

bill, only saw Dorney two days on this trip... ;)
