Track on right side of tower

Just checked CP's web cam and they are installing a piece of red track on the right side of the tower.

I think that is that piece of red track that has been laying on the ground attached to the white piece for some time. If you look below it there seems to be some more white track but if it is there it is camoflauged by the sky. Its really difficult to tell.

The sun peeked out and it is the piece with the white track.

That tower's gonna be tall...

Bugs and spiders all the time. One time, there was two spiders. And the spiders have stored their catches on the lense. Where have you been? ;)

Australia, that's where I live! I don't check the cams much, until now... Last was for WT construction.

I take it back, make that VERY tall... Just saw this pic; http://www.virtualmidway.com/popup/mysterypopup6001.asp?image=attraction310.jpg&title=Mystery%20Attraction It's true, 200ft already. 425ft looks possible. The pull up/out looks of a bigger curve than MF's.

Welcome back then. I'm sure that you'll be checking the cam often now. Maybe you'll make a trip to ride this new ride sometime. :)

Tell me I'm nuts, but after checking the cam, I think that the crane has a piece of white track attatched to a piece of red track in the air over the right side!

You aren't nuts, that is a red & white piece of track on the crane. How many coasters are out there that have muti-colored track on them? I really can't name one right now.

I did not see that earlier when it was overcast, but now that the sun is out you can see it good.

If you include the outside of the bobsled tube, La Vibora @ SFoT has each section alternating yellow, red, and black, like a big honkin' coral snake.

I wonder why, with that big crane there, they are installing track and not working on the tower structure. You would think that they would get the tower finished and then install the high pieces of track and then return the crane and finish with smaller, less expensive cranes. Maybe they just don't want to get too tall before the announcement.

Texas Tonado at Astroworld

I can't wait for the weekend pics, this thing is getting wackier by the day. I maybe they're going to use alternating colors for the launch half and then have the rest of the ride use red track. Either way it's a little odd especially when they're using two different colors on the supports.

Looks like the tower is about the same height as the third hill of MF which is 186ft. Thanks for the pic link, Taipan.

That's so weird. Why would that piece of white track be right there?

Whats very strange is, yesterday that white piece that was put up and taken down is where that first lower red piece is today. They must have placed the wrong piece up there.

When xcelerator was being put together they had to add the track and build the towers at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised it the same thing is done with this rocket.

As for the alternating colors, i have no clue, unless for some reason it would be painted later.
