Top Thrill Dragster unsafe?

Sfmmrider- do you realize that this ride uses the same restraints as Xcelerator? Has anyone fallen off that ride? That really isn't possible. You are pushed back hard during the launch and pretty much every other moment on the ride except for the tophat. No way to fall out of it.

In fact, I bet you could survive either ride with only a lapbar or only a seatbelt. (That would be insane with a seatbelt) Having both should keep you more than safe.

Hey I am happy for you guys getting this ride (don't worry tho, SFMM will beat it), but I dont know, maybe its just I havent seen it run, and it looks unsafe. AND how dare someone say I want someone to fall off! That would totally suck! Do remember tho, the same restraints on this ride, and Xcelerator, were the same on Perilous Plunge, and someone fell off of that, so don't say it cant happen.

It's just a simple question, geez. I honestly doubt though any park would build any ride that could be potentially unsafe, especially with the kind of money and planning that goes into designing rides of this magnitude nowadays.

I would like to point out that the space shuttle goes faster than that.

I agree. Scream! will beat the pants off of Dragster. I think we should all just admit that SFMM can beat CP in every single way. After all, who could beat a park that has Flashback in it?

Ultimate Coaster: We all knew some SFMM fanboys would get a bug up their butt about this. If CP built the perfect coaster they would still think it sucks. Just let him be... We will have fun on it, and that's all that matters!

No I'm not saying Scream will beat it, although I do think almost every ride there is funner than Xcelerator, and almost any ridr at Knotts is funner than Xcelerator (Hell it launches drop two weak turns, end), but I'm saying sicne yours is fast and high, I think SFMM will build a ride faster, and taller than Top Thrill Dragster, and I'm sure it'll do more than launch drop breaks :-). O and what kind of name is that anyways? Should of just called it "Dragster"

Look, actuall dragsters go as fast, if not faster than this, sure it is dangerous and it has its hazards, but only a complete idiot would ever do anything to fall out or get hurt, follow directions and nothing will happen, if they install cameras in to the trains, which hasn't been said yet, but that would be awesome, they would be able to use that during any lawsuit to see the problem and hold up an arguement.

As I said in an earlier forum "This ride will go at least 400 feet tall and 120 mph!" Yes, I was right!!!!!

You know, that's the first thing that the stupid reporter from WKYC asked Bryan Edwards this morning on live TV.

In a perfect world, I would've answered, "Yes, we hope to kill at least a dozen people on opening day."
