Top ten lists

Here's an idea Jeff. Everyone can make their own top ten list for wood and steel. Then out of everyones list you can make a Coasterbuzz top ten from everyones lists.

Sounds like alot of work, but I think that would be cool. I have a feeling I know what park will get the most #1's...

Gotta ride 'em all!
In the coaster list it keeps track of how many members have a particular coaster in their track record. I think it would be possible for it to keep track automaticly. I'm not sure i'm no computer geinus.

thats not p roblem that CP AND OTHER OHIO PARK would have most of the top 10s. it seems to me that we are an ohio based site. The mojority has a home park of either PKI SFO or CP with another good part of us from PA, but we all visit them all anyway so a PA/OHIO dominated top ten list would make sense. Its the rides we like so they will be in a top ten we make. A prereq for liking a coaster is riding it!!! so naturally our top ten will be like this. Just becasue it doesnt have coasters from everywhere doesnt mean it is not a top ten. Over the years its been quite clear NO top ten list is CORRECT, so why can't we make one if its purely opinion anyway *** This post was edited by Ron G on 6/5/2000. ***

I have a philisophical problem with ranking coasters, because too often it's difficult to compare them. I don't think I'd bother comparing an Intamin impulse coaster, a hyper and an inverted because they're different experiences.
