If Mr. Kinzel wants to talk about "stupid decisions", he should take a look at the park's most recent addition.

Both parks still have one coaster in my "so bad it's not even funny on an empty, rainy Tuesday with your host, Dick Clark" rating. It's strange that another CF/SF combo on the east coast are the only other two parks with a coaster that wins that as well.

I'm just going to stay out of this one.

Still, I have to wonder. If he thinks it is such a dumb decision, why is it still there? Scaratching head....

Top Thrill Dragster: 15 seconds is long enough to piss your pants...trust me...
Let's see....:
Batman Knight Flight - Somehow, they made an uncomfortable floorless. How did they manage this?
Big Dipper - Good classic coaster. Ok, that's one.
Double Loop - Arrow looper. Not too terrible, but definitely mediocre.
Mind Eraser - Vekoma boomerang....enough said. Same as it ever was...
Raging Wolf Bobs - this coaster was a friggin' nightmare when I visited. I hope the recent work on it, and the new work to be done, turns it into something rideable.
Roadrunner Express - not bad for a kiddie coaster. Ok, we'll count this one.
Serial Thriller - you list this as good, and I consider it a Vekoma SLC. It was a headbanger's ball. Not worth the time, I didn't think.
S:UE - I have to admit, this ride is fantastic. Count as another one, so we're up to three.
Villain - a horrendous piece of garbage. Maybe it's the trains...but I hated this ride, and people were getting off it holding their sides, elbows, and knees in pain. Not good.
X-Flight - Vekoma Flyer. Was rougher than Batwing, IMO, but still a good ride.
So that's 4 good rides out of 10. I personally think that CP has 7 good rides out of 16 (Yes, I like Mantis - so sue me.) Comparable percentage, with CP slightly higher.
All this is, of course, opinion. However, in life, people often like to tear down the guy who's on top of the rankings, and on top of his game. It doesn't surprise me that people have such specific responses to CP.
*admitting that I'm approching fanboi status*

However, I'd slap a couple "greats" on their wavepool/Violent Aqua Mosh Pit of Doom. That thing rocks. Same for the Season Passholder Cheap Liquor Spot. They could have VF's coasters with the brakes on full stop and I'd still be happy.

I consider Knight Flight, X-Flight (same "great"ness as the B&M Flyers for layout and intensity reasons), SUE (better than WT, which I consider "great" as well), Big Dipper (Blue what?), Villain (my favorite coaster at SFWOA, brilliantly and pleasantly rough), and Serial Thriller (just plain fun and intense) as "great". All six of those are better than my #7 at Cedar Point: Disaster Transport, and All That Jazz.
-Danny, enjoys CP and SFWOA equally, likes Disaster Transport more than Skull Mountain, and considers Viper at Great Adventure a "great" coaster

George, Viper is sick (or raw as Brian likes to say) itself! It's hard not the love the only steel coaster I've been on with an insane mind of its own. ;)

I'm going to have to agree with Den. In a park with mostly mediocre coasters (minus MF, TTD, WT, Magnum, Raptor, and Gemini), ...
I like it when the "except for" includes just about the six best coasters in the midwest......

Oh, and to keep to the original topic, I do always ride DT and i think it would be a great ride if it wasn't so short. But the theming (especially the new stuff) is totally awful. Just paint it black... (do do do do do do... gonna paint it black... :) )
