Tomb Raider: Constructive Dialogue

Guys, a building doesn't have to be 30 stories high to hold a coaster. Think about Rock n' Rollercoaster. It's indoors, it's launched, it's highly themed, and it's big.
To me, this really sounds like a regular dark ride, that is NOT a coaster. I'm about 99% sure, this is nothing like a coaster. At least PKI is getting SOMETHING next year..... unlike SFGAm... :(. Oh well, I can't complain with the 2 coasters this year..... well maybe I can.

Why did SFoG have to steal our treasure... :(
Give up on the roller coaster. It is NOT one. Check out Screamscape.com for the real scoop. This just screams topspin to me! Doesn't it? Or is everyone in denial, and I don't mean the River in Egypt?

Look at the budda pic in the lower left hand side of pic in the link it looks like they are sitting in a spinning ride. Its behined the arms. It does not look like a coaster train. Does it really matter what kind of ride it is as long as its a ride.

I really don't think they would make a glorified spin & puke. Let's just have some patience and let Kings Island do thier thing and if it is a glorified spin & puke then we can hoot and holler.
And if it is a "glorified spin and puke?"

Her in PA, Hersheypark got a laser show and a white aligator this year. I would have loved to see something as exciting as a "glorified spin and puke" instead. However, it didn't happen. We got Lightning Racer in 2000... can't expect something HUGE every year.

On that note, PKI got SOB this year. Again, can't expect something HUGE every year. So, if TR is a glorified spin and puke, then it is... you should consider your selves lucky getting even that after a major addition the previous year.

Geeze... when did every one become spoiled?

To me it seems like it will be a Posiedons Fury type ride, that will end in some kinda motion simulator. A two story building is no where near as tall as rides buildings like MIB's and Spidey's. It's also pretty impossible for one of those spinning type rides that go up and over while spinning to fit in there. A coaster couldn't go higher than 10ft in the building either because of clearance reasons. I think it will just be a souped up motion simulator with a catchy pre-show.

Well, a spinner could go in there if the ride is built into the ground to hide it's true height.

The more I think about it, the more I believe the Top Spin idea. Sure almost every park has one, but they don't have one with ellaborate themeing. Basically, imagine a Vekoma Mad House (Houdini's Great Escape at SFGAdv, SFNE) that really goes upside down.

Just a thought, what if this is just another ploy? Meaning there really is something bigger coming with this Tomb Raider ride. I don't know just something to think about.
I think i am just going to wait for a reply from Jeff and see what his opinion is.Maybe he has a better idea/theory since he was there today :)
