Work continues at Paramount's Kings Island. PKI Zone recently posted new photos from the park. The photos include what looks like parts of the actual ride for Tomb Raider: The Ride.

FoF: pkifanatic,
what gives you the right to bash pki's coasters, because you forgot to do a little research before you posted

Its called an opinion. I post what I think. We are allowed to do so. Also there is another thing called freedom of speech. Do you know that amendment? I hope you do. I have every right to bash PKI's rides. Just because you like them doesn't mean I can't.

TR:TR2002 I don't see the exact words "IT IS NOT A COASTER". But, I'll take your word for it. It shall be interesting to see what goes in.

OK, at the media event for the announcement, Jeff Siebert, PR dude, said to enthusiasts and several reporters thereafter, "It is not a coaster."

pkifanatic,

The fourth coaster that PKI had built in the past 4 years was Scooby-Doo's Ghoster Coaster.  The world's first or America's first suspended kiddie coaster.  It was built in '98, followed by Face/Off in '99, then Son of Beast in 2000, and then Runaway Reptar in 2001.

THE BEASTmaster, would you please tell me your aim screen name if you have one.
Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster. Where in the heck is that located? I have heard about that ride alot and haven't seen it. I might of but I wouldn't know it if I did. Is it buy Run Away Reptar or by the Beastie? Whats it look like?
Scooby's Ghoster Coaster is located between Reptar and the Beastie. A single car suspended from a single rail track. It's lift works like an elavator lifting vertically one car to the top at a time. I hope that helps you.

Welcome back riders, hope you've enjoyed your ride, push down and then pull up on your lap bars and exit to your right, walk down the exit ramp and enjoy the rest of your day here at Paramount's Kings Island.
It has orange track and purple supports. You can see it as you are walking back into the water park, it has little bats or something of that matter as its train. *** This post was edited by SiDeWiNdErCSC on 1/17/2002. ***

I seen that before. Its pretty dumb if you ask me.
Well it is geared towrds little kids, pkifanatic.  Kids do tend to like it.  5 or 6 year olds don't want to ride Top Gun or Face/Off.

Actually, I have seen some kids try to ride Son Of Beast. But because of hight limits they won't let them.
I'm just anxous to get the next update from Jeff Seibert in the mail!  Is he on vacation or what because he said the updates would start in the beginning of the new year so were are they.
