Tipping?

Amen to that. The best waiters/waitresses will simply bring you another drink if your glass is below half-full. I *hate* when servers take your glass and don't bring it back for five minutes.

Sure I do! In facty, I don't even need to take drugs anymore!

Wait, we're talking about tripping right? ;)

I never thought about tipping the housekeepers until now. I'll do it from now on though. It's all about affordable housing Mr. and Mrs. Senator!

I think it all depends on the attitude. A nice smile and friendliness go a long way with me. Personable waiters/waitresses/bartenders.....whatever will always get a healthy tip from me. :-)

Is it proper to use Cow-tipping technique on vendor-carts?
You should always tip people who perform a personal service to you, i.e. serving food, carrying bags, serving drinks, or cleaning up you room, mostly because these are people that work their butt off(if they're good) and don't get paid nearly enough. Vendors get paid atleast min. wage. I work for Sheetz, and people try to leave us tips for making their food all the time. I don't accept them because I get paid well compared to similar businesses that do the same type of work as me.

IN those cases, I donate the tip to one of our charities. If a person treats me well, I will tip well, esp. if there is alcohol involved, or flirting(men/women too, as long as people are treating me well, I'll tip well.

The other week, a bar here had $5 for all you can drink for 2 hrs. I paid $10 for me and my roomie to drink, but gave out around $30 in tips to the bar tender....
