Disney's Latest Version . . .
It's a world of corruption
A regime of Eisner
It's a world of faults
Just look at the Alamo
There's a bad Tigger that provides a scare
That it's time we're aware
Save Disney now, if anyone cares
Donald Trump to Eisner
"You're Fired"
( included hand gesture)

(Is it bad if I didn't have to look that up?)

I really dug the Mexican instrumental tunes though, coming from a band across the creek (yep, a creek) from the Smokey Mountain Wilderness Adventure sim ride.
Can't wait till this weekend!
Bill, I have a feeling Thunderhead and TN Tornado will rock your world all the way back to Florida. You will love 'em. :-D

Thing is that new coasters always seem to rank high. Also recently closed coasters.
Where a coaster stands over the long run is more of a factor of my seeking them out.
Chuck, who will probably take a two day trip down to DL this year to ride this bad boy.
Actually, I heard this coaster was planned for his 60 bajillion acre park, but when he got bored with that game, he sold the design to Dollywood.
Looks damn awesome, but this whole "move over Raven" thing was all started by Godsey. I'd at least give it the bulk of the season and hear some more reviews/reports from different people before really making those sorts of claims. After all, it's not one delusional enthusiast who decides those things (evidently it's many).
Chuck, who thinks Godsey is just ridding the shirt tails.

Chris Godsey, you mean that tool is still around? *sigh*
Read my mind. I'm still drooling over Thunderhead but how can anybody take anything the guy says seriously?
Be sure if you visit the park during the Festival of Nations that you at least see the Chinese acrobats if you see nothing else. They're incredible little kids. *** Edited 4/13/2004 3:13:47 PM UTC by xrae***
I'm glad to hear such good reviews. Was a little worried that the second golden age of wood was coming to an end. If this coaster boosts attendance, perhaps we'll see another flurry of wood as the economy picks up steam.
I'm still hoping for wood at Castle Park in my hometown.
"You really can't appreciate the HEAVILY banked turns in this section until you ride it for yourself. 78 Degrees doesn't sound so impressive with several steel coasters with turns over 90 degrees, but once you ride this coaster, you understand just how insane 78 degrees is on a wooden coaster. People, that is 2 degrees less than Millennium Force's first drop."
He's comparing the degree of the bank on Thunderhead's turns with the degree of steepness on MF.
One is a side to side measurement and the other is a front to back measurement - the two have nothing to do with each other except for using language to sell something in a spectacular way.
Right?
Fate is the path of least resistance.
"78 degrees may not sound like much, but that's only 2 degrees less than the average high temperature in Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood) on May 31 - that's enough to make you sweat!"
What are you talking about? He's building a theme park, remember? He had a Web site and everything. He had an impressive portfolio and client list.

Ahem. Anyway, yeah, Bob can certainly catch the feeling and excitement of our little hobby, and I hope his book made a few bucks. I'm sure he's not getting rich off of his Web writings.

Anyways, what was the deal with Chris's park? It was going to be down in the south somewhere, if I remember. And I believe that launched 4D was mentioned a few times by someone. Something about a Volcano. Eh, the details seem a bit sketchy now.
