Thorpe Park says arms down to prevent body odor exposure

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Thorpe Park bosses have appointed anti-whiff wardens and put up signs around the 500-acre site warning visitors: "Say NO to BO!" If guests refuse to keep their elbows by their sides, they will be escorted from rides. If they are caught again they are booted out the park.

Isn't that something everybody wants to have on their resume?
I was an anti-whiff warden for 2 summers.

Maybe they can borrow the warning audio from TTD and pipe it throughout their park.

Anyway, what's next? Banning speedos from water parks? ;)

I like the idea of providing free anti-perspirant. I actually thought of it before I read delan's (you hotty ;) ) post. It seems a little excessive to throw someone out of the park for stinking. lol

I always have an extra travel size Old Spice stick in my glove box when I go to parks, just in case I need a refresher in the afternoon.

Only problem with anti persperant is that it works by not allowing you to sweat, nothing save the cheap (small amount) of perfumed smell prevents the already on your skin oils from stinking the place up.

At that time, probably enjoying the train wreck on the Busch Gardens thread.

Hell the problem I see with this rule. Everyone sweets especially during the hot days of summer. This rule is going to be unenforceable.

But no one sweets more than Moosh ;)

And here all these years I was noticing the CF ads had all the riders with their arms down, I actually thought it was for safety reasons.

How could I be so naive???

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

That pun stinks.

Kind of funny how this becomes a problem over there when the temp exceeds 25C-- which if I remember my formula correctly is only 77F.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm happy with 30C here in Tokyo.

I think this just opens up a great marketing opportunity for amusement parks to sell body spray or deodorant wipes .. I was at the point yesterday it was hot and muggy and by 3 pm was rather ripe and sticky.. Think of the cash cow a park could have just selling scented body wash wipes...

Selling Axe body spray at the parks. The kids will buy it up. how has that money maker not gone noticed?
