This is hilarious. I feel like this is like Jenny Jones or something where they take the pregnancy tests to find out who the father is and when they find out the all freak out. Also, I made this same post a while ago and gave my suggestions on what to do about it and people said it wasn't that big of a deal!
bbdg, you're the only one I give zeros to because, well, I just don't like you. It seems like whenever you give comments to someone's ride, you always have to find something wrong with it. Perfectly great rides that are incredible -- you have to take two points off their rating because of something stupid like "too many trees".
I agree, this is really unfair, but it's my way of dealing with people like you who think their rides are the best (when they aren't) and submit purely to see how high on the Top 10 they can get and think everyone else's rides suck. In my opinion, you're a greedy, stuck-up, spoiled little brat and I gave you zeros on your rides because it's people like you who I can't stand. It's a very immature way of dealing with things on my part, but that's just how I deal with it. So, with that, I'll change my ratings on your files.

when i see a good ride, i give it what it deserves. i find that there is no point of leaving a comment that just says "great job." that just seems like a waste. when i do leave comments, i give some sort of constructive criticism- i dont look at rides just to find something wrong with them, thats ridiculous. and i dont think my rides are the best... how can i control that. its people like you who rate the coasters and if they werent that good, i wouldnt even be on the top ten so how can you say that. also, why would you think that i think other peoples rides suck? just because i leave constructive criticism? i thought that people would like to know how rides can be improved, or atleast what that commenter would have done to improve it. i have read numerous file descriptions that say the author of the ride wants feedback so i give them some. ill try to watch my wording in the future so that people dont get the wrong impression, but thats all i can do. i feel that i am a very fair rater and if you think otherwise, you are entitled to that.
EDIT: you use tobes recent hyper as an example of taking 2 points off because there were too many trees. firstly, six other people rated that coaster an 8, two were lower than that. secondly, someone else mentioned that the trees might have been too much so its not like im totally out there with how i rate rides. just because you may like something more than i do doesnt make you any better of a rater than me, and vice versa. everybody looks for different things in a ride and rate accordingly. since everybody is different from one another, there will be different ratings, maybe lower ones, maybe higher ones and you might disagree with them but that is no excuse to hate someone. the main thing to keep in mind is that a good majority of people, including me, rate rides what they think they deserve, not what others think they deserve.

Go back and read my original post to you. I didn't have a problem with your ratings as long as they were honest. If you really didn't care for my creations then give a zero - I beg you to. I'd rather get an honest zero than a "fakey nice" higher score. Seems like there's a bunch of "fakey nice" scores going around. Did anyone notice how ratings in general have gotten higher since they became public? My Terror Foundry coaster is sitting at 8.2 and it's not even top 10 - two weeks ago 8.2 would've been top 3. Everyone seems to have rated higher now that we all know who's doing what. Again, it doesn't make it less fair, just changes the scale - so in the long run it's a good thing...even though it turns out there weren't as many "spite zeroes" as many of us suspected.

I will go change that. Yes, I did give your surf wax coasters a 0, but the invasion must have been a mistake. I downloaded that coaster and actually put it in one of my parks. I wouldnt give that a 0. I will even give your invasion coasters an extra point for my mistake.

I don't know why you're mad, I said I already took off my zeros to you. And once again, I gave you zeros because I you're full of yourself and you think you're the best. And your ratings have nothing to do with my preferences. I just see that every comment you've ever made makes yourself look like a higher person, and I don't like people like that.

Redman - why do you care? I didn't give you zeros. You don't need to pull a "Ghandi" and think you're the mature doer of good deeds. Read my posts very carefully. I said he comments on everyone's coasters like he's the king of coaster-building and everyone else's coasters suck, not once did I ever say I was a better person. I already know that rating his coasters zeros was immature of me. I'm not sorry for saying he's a stubborn brat though.
bbdg - I don't care about who thinks you're a good person. I think you're a selfish, snooty brat! You even comment on your own rides saying things like "I think my ride is Top 10 worthy". That stuff, in my opinion gets to me. And that's the reason I rated your coasters zero, even though it was low of me. I'm just telling you why I gave you the low ratings - not trying to seem like a higher person than you. I'm sure if someone rated your coasters unfairly with 10's there would be no complaining.
I bet you're happy about this new "show member ratings" button. Now you can see who gave your coasters low ratings so you can point your finger at them and whine.
