PKI Smurf Ride. My fav amusement park ride of all time.
The elephant fountain at PKI. The big slide behind the elephant fountain.
Kenton's Keel Boat Canal.
Mr. Toad's wild ride.
The low, pre six flags admission price to KK. :)
CP did a good job with the frontier trail with respect to MF, but its still just not the same.
The number one thing I'm going to miss in the future though, is being able to ride coasters with my parents. They are the reason i love amusement parks, and without them someday, it just won't be the same.

Also, I miss the big foliage tunnel at PKI. It's still there but blocked off. And the house of cards.

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."
the beautiful lake at kings dominion now filled in and home to a waterpark. KD train and monorail, King Kobra and the Galaxi.
White Lightnin and the Pirate Island theming, the monorail, wave swinger, car rides, and now Frontier Outpost at Carowinds.
Enchanted voyage, turnpike, monorail, all the oktoberfest rides, Barvarian Beetle and the Zodiac at PKI.

My fellow Americans, let's roll!
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
I guess there is alot of stuff I miss. I don't usually notice, though. I go more often now, rather frequent compared to my youth. About going to parks with family, I miss riding with my dad now that you mention it. My wife is good to ride with now, he's really the only other person I've EVER riden with(given the exception of five strangers).
SFoG Mini Mine Train, the PC pirates themes, Viper, old school restraints on wooden rides, too many to think about. I liked the slides they had where the Georgia Scorcher now stands. The nice dog kennel at SFoG, the Mind Bender's nonBatman paint job. For the most part though, things are good now. There'll be a trend of rebuilding old theme areas at the parks in the future, and all our stuff'll come back to us! That would be nice.
1. The Spinnaker at SFoT. Sure, just an "enterprise," but it was my first major flat ride.
2. The flying airplanes at SFoT- replaced by...a scrambler. Sad days...put in a freefall, that'll make me happy!
3. Of course, the original Speelunker's Cave water ride. Fun fun!
Ah, well... I suppose little kids like Yosemite Sam better nowadays...

PKD - Lake Charles
Hey, that's still there. It's that big thing full of water underneath Anaconda...;):) BTW does anyone know if it is ever drained?

It amazes me to see people "missing" KC:KC. Kentons Cove Keelboat Canal was a walk-on 95% of the time. When it existed, no one wanted to ride it, now that it doesn't.... well...

I always rode KCKC!
And what was the puppet tree? I seem to remember something about that vaguely....

It is a shell of it's former self, only about a third of the original lake exists. It used to extend all the way over into the area where the waterpark now is. On it there was a "Water Follies" ski show and a large geiser right in the center. I only know if it being drained once... when the waterpark was built. It isn't very deep maybe 10 feet at the most. It was dug out for the park...completely man made.
Ravenguy98:
The Puppet Tree was a small children's amphitheatre in HB Land that had a large fiberglass tree in the center complete with plastic leaves. Elaborate marionette and puppet shows were performed there. It was located right about where the elevator lift for Scooby's Ghoster Coaster now resides.
Oh and by the way, the Elephant Fountain from HB Land that you mentioned in an earlier post still exists. It is in storage at Jungle Jims grocery store. It was sold to them in 1998 along with the Safari Monerail. The Elephant was actually the key to a crime commited by several teenagers a few years back. Several Fairfield High School students broke into the storage unit to swipe the elephant for a Senior prank. The police caught them and all were charged with theft, and breaking and entering. None graduated as far as I know. Mr. Jungle Jim himself dropped the charges.
