So does this mean Blue Streak isn't running again? SHOCKER!

Perhaps stealing and selling their own copper wire is part of their new business plan.

Things like this, regardless of the victim drive me crazy. The cost to Conneaut is $10K. But, the as you can see from this chart, even the heaviest gauges of wire would have only yielded 660lbs of copper. But, that would be 1/2" thick wire. In all likelihood, the thieves probably got about 100lbs or less, which would mean they would have been lucky to get $500 out of this.

But the real question is, "how much is that in Crystal Meth"? ;)

Depends. Did Walt and Jesse cook it?

Maybe it's a northwest PA thing.

To clarify for Will, Blue Streak is still running. I was treated to a rough and tumble backseat trip Saturday night. I'm unsure where or what purpose the wire served but the ride was running as usual. On a side note, the station is looking good with the new paint and excellent lighting upgrades.

The Conneaut FB page says the coaster will run this weekend
