A raptor is a bird of prey, like falcons, eagles, hawks, etc. That is where the VelociRAPTOR got its name--it resembles a bird. Go figure.
Anyway, themeing wouldn't hurt Raptor, but it isn't a necessity. Certain rides work well with themeing better than others. B:tR almost needs themeing, because the name of the ride is not one of my favorites.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the big black and brown fences are there so we don't see the bare rears of the builings that are beside Blue Streak.
The circulation of air wouldn't be any better, and it would turn into an easy line jumping site. (away from ops' site and back in the corner)
Like Jeff said (and I have known since the mid 1970's)theming = 0 return on investment as far as CP is concerned.
Instead of the Raptor getting themeing, they should get some canopies and mist machines over the queue line. Waiting for that ride under the sun is murder. The canopies and the mist machines(like in the Millenium Force line) would help alot. As for the theming, Raptor doesn't need it. CP doesn't need it, never has, never will.
Smoothncomfy: That wouldn't be a bad idea. I know that they do it on the Power Tower at Valleyfair! in Minnesota and I think they do it at the PT in CP too.

Yeah, only the moderators can close or delete a topic.
It wasn't a bad idea, it just wasn't all that popular because DT didn't turn out all that well, and the only successful theme CP has had was/is Frontier Town.
I think what they sould do is have a totally seperate atraction. Have you walk through a building (shell) and see dino themed things, and have some kind of an illusion of a Velociraptor chasing you.
