Themed coaster trains

Great White, the batman clone at Sea World in San Antonio.
I loved the original trains for The Vampire a Chessington. I just wonder why they switched from the Vampire trains to the inverted style. those original trains were so cool.
Im partial to DL's Space Mountain trains...I can't wait to see the new ones.

I also like the chroma color paint job we got on The Adventuredome's Canyon Blaster a few years ago.

And of course, the Wacky Soap Box Racers will always be a favorite!

...and such

Always thought the original Thunder Road trains were the coolest looking woodie trains:

Those Thunder Road trains look really cool. They ought to bring those back, and send some up north a little for the Rebel Yell. Sad how hard it's become to get the ride to race. I would love to get that awesome experience. However, Rebel Yell is blessed by the fact that it does not need the racing aspect to make it a good ride. The airtime alone is enough to ensure the ride's immortality.

I've seen lots of pictures of neat trains (like Dueling Dragons) but of the ones I've actually ridden, my favorites are Dragon Mountain:

And Idlewild's Wild Mouse:

My least favorite would have to be the cars on a Reverchon Spinning Wild Mouse. Cool ride, but the "mice" look like they've been given a few too many whacks with the ugly stick.

Hands down, The best themed trains I ever seen were THE BAT at Kings Island.

Second would probably be The Beast orriginal 4 bench trains that were multi colored.

Third. Dueling Dragons. Pretty neat when the hip restraint is a talon.

Screechin Eagle at Lesoursdville back when it was called the Space Rocket had a NAD train that was a '57 Chevy Bel Aire.

Kinda like them thunder road but it wasn't that detailed. It was orange and silver.

I like Big Thunder Mountain RR's trains.

The old Thunder Road trains where cool too.

I like the classic feel of the GCI MFlyers. I think it was a neat idea of GCI to pattern them after the old twister trains from the 20s and 30s. *** Edited 11/16/2004 10:56:39 PM UTC by Dukeis#1***

I'm hearing that Expedition Everest's cars will kick some major ass.

Although right now my favorite would have to be Rock'n'Rollercoaster. Never got to see TTD's wheel-and-engine cars....

Drachen Fire - The trains had a red lights on the sides. It looked amazing at night!

Scott Fowler at www.americanaamumentpark.com has one pic of the train but it isn't that good. He has his pic's protected somehow from copying or saving but he might let you have it if you ask.

Chuck

I never got to see Top Thrill with those huge drag tires on the back. :( From the videos I've seen it looked pretty cool.

I guess "theme" and "engineering" don't always mix. Did they get more seats on the ride because of that? hmm.
