the rails have been greased for SRM!!!

just wanted to let you guys know that i was at holiday world on saturday and also on monday. i was told on monday afternoon by a ride supervisors that they had greased the rails monday morning getting ready for SRM. let me tell you, there was a HUGE difference between saturday rides and monday rides. right now the legend is running the fastest that i have ever experienced. all of the SRMer's are in for a real treat with the coasters this weekend!!!

Have you ridden a Toboggan?

I'm sure they'll do a little more greasing before the event. I recall seeing Jeff H and a few other maintenance men out on the tracks before ERT began.

Remember...SRM rides can be messy...don't wear your best white shirt. Holiday World wood coaster maintenance guys have grease guns and they're not afraid to use 'em!

I was about to say what Moosh said. For the GOCC Fall Freak Out the grease gunners were out in full force about 30 minutes before our ERT started ;).

Im literally counting the days until SRM!!

I actually have a funny story in relation to SRM! My mom came home with 2 bottles of suntan lotion for Water Park ERT and I said to her "Mom, they have free suntan lotion there" and she said "First they have free parking, then free soda and now free suntan lotion??? what the hell!"
