The Patriot at Worlds of Fun

Word, even at 5'10, the floor dropping doesn't do THAT much. The only time I really *got* the floorlessness was the open-air feeling on Krypton, it was cool looking down into the quarry through the rails.

A small suggestion for floorless models: Point your toes toward the rails...it seems to make the "kick the rails" feeling come out a little better.

Still, for the price difference, it (floorlessness) seems like an unnecessary expense to me.

Does CF have any floorlesses other than Hyrda and Dominator?

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Nope, no other floorless coaster besides those.

Unless you want to count the inverts....they ARE floorless...;)
What IS the price difference between a floorless B&M and a standard sit down B&M (Kumba and Wildfire)? If it is a big difference, I would take the standard sit-down in a heart beat. All dropping the floor does is let you see the track, and I already know what that looks like.

Down is the new up.
They should get one B&M track with three trains: a floorless, a standup, and a sitdown. Then they could market it as 3 new coasters. :)

They are BOTH sitdowns. Did you mean Kraken at SWO?

I think hes using those as examples of sitdowns.

i'm not sure what to put here..

I think he meant that those are both examples of sitdowns and he wants to know how much more a floorless would cost (I guess a percentage) over a regular sit down.
I have to vote for an iverted beemer, especially if they make use of the terrain. Either way, I'd really like to see interlocking vertical loops as an homage to Orient Express, but more importantly more than one good drop.

Oooo... Raven I beat ya. ;)

Floorless coasters are not worth the added cost. Also IMHO they tend to take longer to load than conventional sit-down B&M loopers.

I vote for an inverted, we'll see if that's what happens. :)

I'm also in favor of an invert even though I wouldn't hate a floorless.

I don't see capacity being much of an issue with either one after the 2nd year and I'll bet that it's a 2 train operation.
