The one thing at your home park that you always do

Funny you mentioned it in the original post, but at SFGAm, I always get a strawberry sundae funnel cake! It is honestly (and very sadly) my favorite food of all time. The thing is it was up to $7 for one this year!!! That's an insane price IMO.

Anyway my old traditions used to be getting cheesy potato spears by the swings (in their last position) but after an incident on the ride home in May where my riding buddy vomited on the way home (it smelled like cheese fries) I've found that I don't have the urge for them anymore ;)

No trip to Dorney is complete without a ride on Talon.

I never go to Great Adventure without getting at least one ride on Nitro.

Well, for *each* of my homeparks:

Wild Adventures...Cheetah, of course, but the dry sack slide (Insect-O-Slide) is the MUST do at least once before leaving, provided it is in fact a "dry" slide...ah, nostalgia...if it's warm, I do Tasmanian River Rapids just to dream of what I would LOVE to do if given a shot at theming that sucker...

BGT...Gwazi (whichever side is running that day)...and we gotta check in on the lions (REAL "cat people" aren't overly concerned with the size of the cat, it's the contentedness of the purr)...oh, and the Hospitality House..

IoA...Fire Dragon, and ever since the Travel Channel Secrets show, the Caro-Seuss-El...(what's the *trick* on THIS one)...hoping they always make sure all the critters are working, it's the "signature attraction" at Seuss Landing...Woody and MiB if we get a chance to head over to USF...

GRRRRRRRRRR Spoiled Floridian........;)

as a PKD homeparker, no visit to PKD is complete without a back seat ride on the Grizzly. also, for some strange reason, for the last few years i have always headed over to Congo first, then come down the midway via Shockwave, and i usually end the day coasterwise on Grizzly. another tradition that is actually starting to die out, and this goes for A LOT of PKD homers, is a final ride on the Berserker. but im kinda gettin tired of it....so its been awhile since ive done that.....:)

Tim....who misses his PKD so much....see you in March, my beloved home park!! :)

Triple Play at SFGAm.... I MAKE my friends ride it.

Same Here. Also DDR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At SFEG I always ride Twister II, and usually I hit most the other coasters too, but I always hit Twister II.

At Lakeside I always hit Cyclone, can't beat that coaster!

At Hersheypark, I always get the urdge to get an italian ice across from the arcade tent.

At Kennywood I just have to eat some Patato Patch fries with cheese sauce. Also I usuially end my day with a ride on Baron Curve.

When at CP, my party and I MUST ride Paddle Wheel Excursions at least once. It may just be because I used to be a Paddle Wheel Captain. I know ALL of the jokes.

I always marathon Leap the Dips at Lakemont park. It may be because there isn't much more to do there.

There are a lot of other things that I do at parks, however there are the ones I would consider habit or traditional.

-----------------
I regret to inform you that Lakemont Park is my homepark.

Since I live in New York only an hour away from Six Flags Great Adventure I consider it my home park. I ride Great American Scream Machine, Medusa, Viper, Batman: The ride, Batman&Robin: The Chiller, and Nitro first when I go. Then I go and ride most of their flat rides.

Since my father lives in Pittsburgh, PA I go to kennywood and ride the phantom's revenge, Thunderbolt, Exterminator, Racer, Jack Rabbit, Pittfall, Areo 360, all three of the water rides, and some other flat rides. Then I go and eat some chicken strips and potato patch with cheese, dippin dots, and funnel cakes with strawberries and ice cream. Just thinking about that makes me want the ingredients so I can make it at home.

3 Words for CP....

CHILLI CHEESE FRIES!!!!

ps... thats on the way out the door. I think you might know why I don't eat them early in the day!

Every trip includes a frozen yogurt at the stand in Frontier Town as well as an order of cheese fries across from Gemini.

I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

CP: Always eat at Midway Market--in 2000, two days running

VF: I'm there almost every week of the regular season with children that have varied in height, rendering an 'every week' tradition over a seven-season span virtually impossible. I suppose the closest thing to a tradition was the Stupid Kiddie Pool Games.

PKI: Two words--Skyline Chili. First eating it and then wondering why I did.

-'Playa

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

I always use the bathroom at SFA, especially the one (and the emphasis is on one) in Gotham City, because it's a long, long walk down to Batwing.

I always buy fudge and saltwater taffy when I visit The Point

There is a new twist in the Top-Hat. :)

Once I determine a departure time from the park (CP), I head on over to one of the "Fool the Gueusser" stations. Since birth month is too easy to guess, I let them guess my weight or age. If they guess the first one, I go with the latter. I generally go home happy.

Potato Patch fries with cheese at Kennywood. Yum.

Lori - who hopes Koaster King is reading. ;)

This Season every time I went to SFGAm before they let you loose and the chians go down at 10:00. I always start out on the Right Side of the Park right under the Train Bridge on the Left Side. I wrote my name and my friends names on the pole whare I stand at every time. Then when I get in the Park I have specific way of riding the coasters. I go to Raging Bull Do that At least 2 times then go to Iron wolf, Then V2 then I do Batman Acouple Times. Then I go to Burger King for Lunch. Then I go to Viper then Raging Bull Again. Then I do American Eagle after that I just See how the Line are I depends.

I like to scream like an idiot on the lift hill of Steel Force at Dorney. It just never gets old.

Also, when I'm at Great Adventure, I like to sit in the back of most coasters and call out the names of the elements as the train passes through them. I can't begin to describe how upset I was on my last ride on Medusa this season, when some guy screamed out "COBRAAAA!" before I had the chance to. Grr.

-----------------
it's not my birthday.

I always have to get a bowl of dipping dots when I'm a guest at Valleyfair. I also have to make the rounds through bear country, and ride all of the coasters at least once. Especially Wild Thing and Excalibur.
