The Neverending Queue

Most of CP's queue lines are huge. They seem to never end because you just walk back and forth so many freaking times. It's good that they work hard to keep the lines moving which I appreciate. I just don't like how they're all just in one spot. Granted it's most logical to do it that way but I'd rather wait in a queue like DD than MF for example.

Definitely Indiana Jones at Disneyland. That is the longest que I've ever been through. As well as Splash Mountain at DL, thats including the whole beginning that they never really use.
If I remember right I always thought splash mountain at disney world had a long que. First all the area outside and then into the long tunnel. Raptor also has a long que but it keeps moving and is fast.

I did it twice(!) on a sweltering July weekend back in '92 and lemme tell ya, a 3 hour wait in that queue ain't no picnic. However, that was back when the wait was actually worth it! Now I wouldn't wait a half hour for that pile. :(

If your really evil in this life, do you come back as toilet paper????
ladies and gentlemen, due to an increase in line jumping, people caught cutting in line will no longer be ejected from the park. u will be ejected from the ride

When I went to IOA the queue for DD extended out the castle. But running at 6 trains, seperate unload/load, that thing EATS people alive. It was still only about a 45 minute wait.

AC?, RB?, MF?, DD?, PR? Who can keep track of it all?

I would have to say American Eagle at Six Flags Great America, that has about twice as many switchbacks as Millennium Force does. The line is huge and takes forever when you have to wait through it all.

Indy at DL is very long as well as Stelth. The longest I have seeen is Roar and SFMW! I think it gets bigger every year! But I am going to see DD later this month so we shall see!

Of the ones I have been on:

Twister II, you have to walk from one side of the coaster to the completly opposite side to get to the station. But you go within the structure so it is quite interesting.

Sidewinder(Arrow Shuttle Launch)- The stairs just suck.

The Boss and B:TR @ SFStL have the longest path's I've seen, and that includes MF, PKI's Top Gun, Raptor @ Goliath. But the ones that really get to me are Hoosier Hurricane and Cornball Express. Those stairs get to be killers after several repeated runs up them. They need to create an opening so that you don't have to walk all the way down the stairs if you want a re-ride.

I don't mind switchbacks if there is some variety you know. Like you go one way walk straight a little bit then walk the other. A big group of railing makes me feel like cattle especially when in the portable MF queue.

I'll have to go with the Boss as well. The entrance and exit are in the same place. Exactly the type of queue you never build in RTC.

Generic, isn't it?

I would say Boss, Batman, and Dr. Dooms Fera Fall Queue Lines are neverending. Boss is soo long and there is no shade, ur standing in the hot sun forever. Batman's has a very long line especially @ STST. Dr. Dooms Fearfall has the longest queue line. I though the line was outside. There were lines galor there, you had to go upstairs and everything. It was really confusing. Spiderman and Dueling Dragons also had long queue lines too.

Well, I know that this one isn't the longest, but it is still too long and that is Batwing as SFA. It is huge when you add in the path to get back to the queue line...and it is legit to add that path considering that Batwing is the only thing on that path. It feels like it is leading you to the middle of nowhere...and it is!

I will also give a vote to Space Mountain at WDW.

The queue at DD's main purpose was to take a while to get through without standing in line. Taking the time to see all of the artifacts slows the line long enough where you actually enjoy being in line. Also, they were also expecting to stick another attraction next to it and use part of the queue for that. It is the world's largest queue and also the most expensive at 20 million dollars!!!

Was this still when you were with Uni. Creative, Chris? You did work for them, right?

The meat of the queue, while endless, is well done. It's just those cattle causeways outside that are frightening beyond imagination :)

How much did Trike Encounter cost? I'd argue that it's nothing more than a giant queue :)

In life you start the same as when you're done. If you lose, you're just where you've begun. If you win, remember what I said, don't quit while you're ahead. Who cares?

SROS at SFNE is really long. It basically just sits under the twisting finale of the ride and is a great place to get pictures of the ride and others close by. There's probably three or four switchbacks, and a ton of more path lenght connecting each one and wrapping around garden objects. Then you get to the station and the path weaves through itself. Once actually in the station, you've still gotta wait for the ride.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

S:ROS at SFNE's queue is huge, and it needs to be with only 1 train half the time, but the Riverside Cyclone's (SFNE) exit is unbearable! Its the never ending exit!

September 23, 2001 @ IOA. Dragons. 10:00 in the morning. They guy at the front gate told me there were less than 150 people in the park. My wife and I timed about 8 minutes from entrance to ride. No one else in line. They weren't even running trains through. We wondered if the ride was down or not. Finally, we got to the station, and the ride ops were all standing there, waiting for us. They wouldn't let us just stay on the ride, but I'm sure glad those mid-queue inserts for re-rides were there...

No question about it DD at IOA. The first time I went to ioa I got lost and almost lost in it several times but the air conditioning is nice and the theming is very well done so its not so bad.
