The Neverending Queue

What is your vote and runner-up for the ride with the longest queue.

I'm not talking about wait time, I'm talking about the one where you have to walk the most when all avaliable rows are open. This is all personal opinion people!

I think Indiana Jones at Disneyland is my first vote. As it has a section of outdoor switchbacks that turns into a really long path once inside the temple that never seems to end.

My runner-up would have to be Mean Streak at Cedar Point. Even though the queue isnt used for the most part all those switchbacks would be a pain if you had to walk through all of them.

"ok everyone go ahead and pull down on your shoulder restraint so you feel nice and stuck!"

The Boss at SFStL - Although it isn't really that long of a wait when full with 3 train operation, it is quite a hike walking up and down all those stairs/ramps to get to the station.

Someday there will be something here.

Rattler and RoadRunner Express both at Fiesta Texas hell, you could also throw in Texas Giant @ SFoT. Those queue are hella long. I'd hate to see days when they are in full use.

Of Course, I think the Dueling Dragons queue has them all beat...

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

1st Place American Eagle @ SFGAm

The longest line I have ever seen would be Rattler at SFFT. The longest exit path would be Roadrunner Express also at SFFT. That thing is long!

I actually thought Gotham Park for Namtab was longer at SFStl than the boss. You wander around that park for a good five minutes before you ever get out and then you still have to go around the back and meander around there a bit before you ever get to the front of the ride.

Dueling Dragons has a pretty long queue too but after going through Namtab's queue line I dont think I will ever complain there again.

Longest exit has to go to Viper at SFGAm with Boss at SFStl a close second.

Umm, Dueling Dragons anyone?

I don't know who Universal Creative thought was going to be visiting that park, but I'd turn around and go home if that queue were ever full.

In life you start the same as when you're done. If you lose, you're just where you've begun. If you win, remember what I said, don't quit while you're ahead. Who cares?

Probably Viper at SFgadv. Or was that because i WAS in a hurry to hurt my head;)

83 coasters and soon to be more
Life is a roller coaster Ride It!

The great thing about DD is that the loading time is so fast and the ride is short enough to where I don't think the queue line would be full even on the busiest days. The time I was there in April we were there on a Saturday when the park was packed, but the line for DD never extended outside the castle at any point in the day.

Now THAT'S efficiency. ;)

I think SFSTL has the longest Queue for all their coasters.
The queue at DD's main purpose was to take a while to get through without standing in line. Taking the time to see all of the artifacts slows the line long enough where you actually enjoy being in line. Also, they were also expecting to stick another attraction next to it and use part of the queue for that. It is the world's largest queue and also the most expensive at 20 million dollars!!!

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!

I believe 2Hostyl is correct - DD has the longest queue (over a mile if all switchbacks are open - which they never are...)

Far more annoying, however are the queues that can't be shortened. Boss @ SFStL, Eagle @SFGrAm, etc I'll let slide, because you have to walk that far to get to the ride. The Batman the Ride lines really bug me... Take, for example Batman @ SFStL... The windy part through "Gotham Park" cannot be shortened or bypassed (even though the line passes within inches of itself). The ride may be a walk on, but it is a 5 minute walk... At least they usually allow re-rides...

Kick the Sky - You're right, the Batman one is probably actually longer. I think the Boss just seemed longer to me because you see the whole uphill trek spread out in front of you.

hurler @ pkd is really long. DD has got to be the longest though. I got lost several times in the BTR queue. ST @SFWoA is pretty long if you count the path going down.

The uphill line for the Boss is a killer... so is Screamin' Eagle... I guess SFStL wants it's guests to get in shape.

On a side note, did anyone notice how slick tke stones in SFStL's Eagle line get when they are wet???

Id have to go against all u, it's Runaway Mountain @ SFOT, I've ridden this thing three times, and it's long, but the themeing helps keep ur mind off it, the alligator in the pond was freaky!

The hurler, the sooperdooperlooper is kinda long. they wont let you reride and after a while it gets annoying because im fat and lazy!

When you go t bgw don't go in festhaus,IT"S SCARY AS HELL!

I say the Beast line and Top Gun line are the longest. Top gun takes forever on a crowded day. Also, even though off topic topic, I'de say that the line for Tomb Raider is actually short. It just takes a while to get through.
I don't know if you guys know about this one but Journey to Center of the Earth at Disney Sea is longest borinest line I've been on. It doesn't even move, and me being the only one with blond hair, and everyone staring at you, it seems like the line could go on for days.
