The location of PKI's sling shot is,

Having ridden the 'newer' Sling Shot rides like the one going in at PKI, my guess would be that the total height the capsule will go up could be anywhere from 250-300 feet depending on how they operate it.

I have done the new one in Orlando which blast riders up to a height of 350-feet. The towers on that ride stand 250-feet tall.

I can confirm that "slingshot" willbe closer to Adv Express. I went rubbernecking today after I got off work. It's actually placed between the midway and the loop of KC. I know there's not much room there right now, but that leaves a whole lotta room for 2003. The towers are roughly 120 ft(?) tall and look just like the Skycoasters' "lift". As for KC, the loop and lift are still up as of today. The helix does appear to be gone but I really couldn't slow down to look well enough. Warren County Sherriff was right on my rear. As sad as I am to see KC go... just leaves more room for me to be excited about 2003!!! =)

We went by PKI last night and saw the two towers of the slingshot up and they were somewhere between the Action Zone midway and the KC loop, which is what I think Sheik said. I would guess, like some have said, it will be where the KC helix was. The KC lift, drop, and loop are still up though as of last night.

I was just there today and the slingshot is no where near where the King Cobra's helix was. The sling shot is actually in front of the coaster's loop and lift hill area.
