The forgotten B&M Stand-up coaster

The city owns it and they dont have enough money. Because if they had the money they would atleast finish the Intamin Twin.

Hey

All that stuff about Vertigorama (the Intamin/Gio Racer) not opening is apparently not true. I spoke to someone recently who rode the coaster a few years back. He said it may now be SBNO but it did run for a period of time.

Also that paramount thing. According to an artical i read recently the park was to be sold off. 3 companys were looking at it. 1) Paramount 2) A 2nd Unknown American Company 3) The Brazilian Company that owns Hopi Hari and the Various playcentre parks. The Paramount plan was apparently outright favorite to win with several new coasters including an Inverted. that was a few months ago and i havent heard anythign since, the conversion was supposed to happen for late 2003 so if anything starts happening it will happen within the next few months

Edit: The coasters at the park at the moment were ALL distributed by Intamin. They include 2 Intamin Kiddie Coasters, 1 Speed Racer (non looping clone of Nessie at Hansa Park in germany), 1 Jet Star (still in a field rusting away :( ), 1Alpen Blitz Coaster from Schwartzer and a Giovanola/Intamin Racing Coaster. (rumors say it never opened but i still belive it did (See above))

It is true about the park's rocky past and they still have an Intamin twin tracked roller coaster partly built in 1983 which never opened from what I've heard. The park also has 4 Schwartzkopf coasters and two other Intamin kiddie coasters all built in the late 70s and early 80s. Anyone know any other reasons they've not built any coasters since?

It opened quite sometime ago, becuase I've ridden Vertigorama, slow and bumpy is my review. Anaconda is also my favorite coaster under 100 feet tall. Which is NOT A CLONE OF NESSIE!!!

By the way that is Air track, all I had to do is flip the picture in Photo Shop Deluxe and change the Hue of the picture and it showed exact resemblance to the shot of Air track in the parking lot. Also, next time, try despeckling the picture because up close you can tell that he copied and pasted the observation tower from SFMM and just increased the contrast.

Hey

Aconcagua IS a clone of nessie without the loop. Take a look at these pictures 1) Aconcagua http://ft.coasterwire.com/intamin/acon.h0.jpg (this shot shows it at another angle but with clearer vision http://ft.coasterwire.com/intamin/acon.h2.jpg) 2) Nessie http://ft.coasterwire.com/intamin/wpe1c.jpg If you follow the layouts u will see they are the same (except nessie has a loop and acongua has a flat section of track)

Can someone say Germany next time. POV, Loch Ness Monster.

this coaster will not be armed, since it was never paid by the ex- " Interama Park " (old owners of the Park)

Phew! The coster won't be armed! I'm glad it won't have any weapons!
Um...one other blatant give away is the credit on the photo: www.Prepare4air.co.uk. A UK website that mentions air in the title!
HA! Good one, almost believed it!!!
