The Best State to Live In for Coasters

California, Ohio, and Florida
PA, because not only do you get to ride all of their great coasters, but you live between Ohio and NJ. Also, you live pretty close to SFA, PKD, and BGW.
Nebraska!;)
Pa was another i forgot,i can make daytrips to parks in PA from NJ to :)

California....the best weather anywhere
Based on my experience, Florida is the place to be. Florida's parks are beautifully themed as well as thrilling, you can never get bored there.

2)Ohio
3)Southern California

Definately not anywhere in the upper midwest. Short seasons and few major parks.
Why Floirda? You've got Hulk, Deuling Dragons, the Busch coasters and Space/Big Thunder Mountains. Also the Hurricane in Dania Beach. So you have maybe 12 or 13 coasters. Even with year 'round riding I can't believe that Florida is third. What about Pennsylvania, Virginia (Busch, Kings Dominion)?
Actually we have 21 right now.

I think Ohio was the best ever before SFWoA came into the picture. To the west we're less than 6-7 hours away from SFGAm, IB, and SFStL. To the south, we're less than 5-6 hours away from SFKK, HW, and DW. To the East, we have parks all over the place from KW to BGW to SFGAdv. To the north, MA. We're really the center of the best coasters outside of Cali and Texas. Florida coasters are ok. The IOA and BGT coasters are the only thing notable. And that's only 6 plus RnRC, SM, Kraken, and DBH. 10 great in all couldn't be that high up there, IMO.

Ohio is number 1!!! :)
Alaska!!!

East/North East, the states are all tiny back there and coaster density is pretty high. On a four day weekend based in Jersey did SFNE, Lake Compounce, Coney Island, Knoebels, Dorney Park and SFGAdv without feeling rushed.

Reaching for my 100th in 2001, currently 1 short (ignore the count, unable to add three defunct rides at present), I guess I should have ridden more clones and boomerangs. NAAAAAHHHHH!!
While in SC, we don't have hardly any coasters (with the exception of Hurricane,Swamp Fox, and a wild mouse) In Greenville, where I live, I'm fairly close to Carowinds in NC and SFoG in Atlanta. So its kinda nice to be here in the center.

Mindbender...Can you hear the Riddler chuckling?
21 in Florida is nothing. Most parks in Texas have about half of that. The only problem with Texas is as big as Ohio and PA combined.

TITAN Laps: 8
21 is nothing? Boy are you spoiled. It's about quality, not quantity. Florida's collection is better than any other state IMO.

cali the coaster capital of america
While Maryland doesn't have a great number of coasters, it does have a good central location. A day trip can get you to eastern and central Pennsylvania, Virginia's coasters, New Jersey, and Coney Island plus of course SFA. Stretch it to a weekend and you add the rest of Pennsylvania, most of New York, and if you really like to drive parts of Ohio.
Spain?
Can't say Ohio, manily because the wheather isn't nearly as good as Cali, and Cali is open year around! The no cal parks are better than almost all other states and there is still so cal. I Mean think how could ANYONE compete with Cali! Nocal: PGA, great park with awesome coasters
SFMW gets a new coaster every year and has a ton of potential also has the best flat rides and animals.
SCBB: Discovery Channel says this is the best Boardwalk beachside amusment park.

There are also A TON of small parks, none with real subtantial coasters.

So cal
Disneyland and DCA
Come on! No park can match up with these to! In a legue of there own!

Knott's Berry farm, CP little brother! Just an amazing park and has tons of potentail due to a new huge coaster/attraction coming soon!

SFMM: We all know the deal! Maybe not the best park, but has best thrill rides in the land.

Belmont, Giant Dipper!

This doesn't include Sea Worl which could get a coaster.
Last time I checked Spain was a country. Oh yeah I think Indiana is a good place because your surronded with SFGAm, Big Cheif's, PKI, SFWoA, and Cedar Point and those are some of the best parks around!
