The best flat rides at Cedar Point?

I've been on Chaos and rather enjoy it, but it's not unique. I can think of two other parks in the Midwest with a Chaos (SFKK, MA). Cedar Downs is one of two (I think) racing derbys left in the US. Now for the rides I listed earlier, there is only two Frisbees I know of in the East at SFNE and SFGAdv, one Wipeout at KW, run poorly from what I've heard, and several Top Spins. When it comes right down to it, I'd like to see Cedar Point get some flat rides that aren't variations on a Scrambler or Himalaya or Enterprise, which is pretty much their flat ride selection now.

Yes, there are only 2 racing derbys in the United States (A third is in the UK). The derby at Rye Playland is reported to turn faster then Cedar Downs. Cedar Downs is also interesting because they not only moved the ride from Euclid Beach but the pavillion enclosing it as well. A true classic experience.

For clarity, what exactly is a flat ride? Does this only include spin and pukes or does it include any non-roller coaster ride like Space Spiral and the Antique Cars
My favorite flat rides at Cedar Point are Space Spiral, Matterhorn, and Witch's Wheel.

I wish they had a flat ride like the Aero 360 at Kennywood. I was intimidated by that thing at first, but now I can't get enough of that ride!

That's a toughie to answer, millrace. Personally, I would call any sort of self contained usually spinning ride a flat ride whereas something like the Antique Cars is a car ride and the Space Spiral is an observation tower, but that's just me.

Let me rephrase that about KW's Wipeout, it's not run the same as KBF's from what I hear. Basically they don't run the same program. Knott's is very extreme where KW's is tamer.

Cedar Downs is one of the coolest rides at the Point. Aside from the coasters I would have to say that this is my favorite ride there.

Are Dodgems a car ride or a flat ride?
