The appeal of Disney parks

Experience now tells me.. you have never been to a Disney Park. Never Ever. Haven't even seen the parking lot.

LOL... I am lying? I stayed at building 38 Riverside just a bit up the road from the fishing hole and the pool/bar/hot tube. The section was called Crocodile something or other. We ate at Via Napoli where the one wood fired oven is named Vesuvio or Vesuvious or something like that, there are 2 other ovens. There is a large butcher block table in the resturant where they seat people all together. We then ate at the place in the Ft Wilderness lodge where they have all you can drink milkshakes, and when you ask for ketchup, half the resturant brings ketchup to your table and you end up with 25 bottles. We then ate at the hoop de do review where they sing cornball songs and give the kids all a washboard to play at the end.

Kahli River Rapids, half way through there is a forest fire.

Orlando Airport you have to take a monorail from the gate to where you catch the magic express which is down an escellator and to the right.

Haven't been. It's OK.. you can say it.

Have to wonder if Disney has heard my pleas for doubling up on that ride....FPs are almost always gone within 2 hours of park opening, and waits are rarely less than 45 mins.

Sort of. They aren't building a second one, but rumor on the street is that they plan to do a family coaster (based on Monsters?) in Soundstage 1, right next door. That won't do squat for the congestion in Pixar Place, but it might lighten the load on TSMM with another "the whole family can ride" attraction.

Neither have you apparently, you claimed to have had fun there.

You still really don't get it. Sad.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Your personal incredulity is not a valid defense of DW.

Your personal incredulity

What's good for the goose, Bill. After all, you "weren't buying" that I've been to Morocco with my kids.

It was. Now I come in here and all I read is "Is." "Is not." "Is too!" "Not it isn't!" "Yes it is!" "No way!"

Etc...

Jeff was saying to make a day of it. Looking at the countries, yea that's goign to happen.

Walking past Austrailia's little kiosk at the food and wine thing, I almost got sick, whatever they were cooking smelled like crap (kangaroo?) I couldn't stick around long enough to find out.

We stopped and listened to Big Bad Voodoo daddy for a little bit, but we just bypassed Richard Marx the first day we were there....LOL.

This is one of the most interesting topics I have ever read. I want to know what makes you tick...

As far as what?

I was thinking it was more like this.

I want to know what makes you tick...

It's not like it's that hard to figure out.

LOL. Same genre/group.

Motion to close discussion in this thread. Anyone second?

Formally closing it would just feed the beast. It would be better to just ignore it.

Problem is, who doesn't love to watch a good tire fire?

Seems to me that closing it and ignoring it are essentially the same thing.

Its about as productive as a tire fire. May last a little longer than your typical good tire fire though.

And it isn't very often that you have the opportunity to watch someone become a caricature of themselves right before your very eyes.

Or, we could totally ignore him and turn the discussion over to something else.

Isn't that what the rest of the forums are for?

Haiku about pancake fires?
