RRR > X2. I was shocked at how bad it is. It was a bucket list ride and it was so violent that it ruined my evening.

Full Throttle rips though.

Where as X2 was easily a Top 5 all time for me. Heck, for me X2 > Millennium Force

(ducks under my desk)

I loved X and X2. I don’t get why people bash that ride so much. Maybe the ride bashes them?

Also, in before close. Remember when that was a thing?

My top 3 coasters are: Deja Vu, Green Lantern, Riddler’s Revenge. I just like coasters that are green.

Never had the pleasure of Flashback. Unfortunately had the displeasure of Psyclone and I am surprised that in my track record I gave it two stars. I suppose my #4 would be (reprofiled/untwisted) Colossus.

Revolution - my favorite steel coaster design ever. It's a work of art, including the pace. They finally go the shoulder bars off; the new seats/interiors are a hot mess, but at least you can ride pain-free with a view now.

After reveling in that awesome design and pace, I'd go with X2 for the newer stuff. It's the only coaster that scares the crap out of me. Having to ride defensively the entire time doesn't take away from the ride too much; it adds to the terror level and overall ridiculous stuff that is happening so high off the ground.

Well, twisted Colossus and Tatsu weren't even built when I was there. X2 was still X1, and you had to walk uphill both ways to find out that Ultimate Escape never opens.

X was great when I rode it.

Revolution still had the crap restraints.

I recuse myself.

They have it so easy. Back in my day... you had to walk uphill in both directions, not even backwards ...while dodging fire effects

EDIT: On the love/hate of X: It exemplifies the “don’t buy a car the first year model, wait til the bugs are worked out” mantra. It’s awesome (early adopters!), but: ええじゃないか

RRR > X2

X2 was a bucket list ride for me but my experience was more akin to a concussion simulator.

At the risk of rescuing this discussion from boring us all to death, let me tell one of my stupid stories, this one about my experience with Magic Mountain, a very, very long time ago...

I grew up in West Virginia. I've never been to Magic Mountain, but have always been intrigued with it. When I was grade school aged (a hundred years ago,) I sent a letter to the park after seeing it on TV. I very politely asked them to send me brochures and a park map, and that I didn't expect I would be able to visit until I was an adult, but I really wanted to go there sometime.

This was long before the internet, when I could open a webpage and see what the park was like. As a very young boy, all the way until I was in my mid-teens, I drew fantasy park maps. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I told them I wanted to own my own amusement park like Walt Disney. It was cute.

Imagine the surprise of a skinny little boy whose biggest amusement park experience was Camden Park when a Magic Mountain souvenir park map arrived in my mailbox in a big manila envelope. I was the happiest kid ever.

I still hope to get there someday.
