I was all Canon for the longest time. I got out of the game/hobby for a short bit and needed to re-acquire when I wanted to start up again. I started on the A6000 (on a recommendation to just give it a try) several years ago and really liked it, so when I found myself in the position to upgrade, I went with the A7iii and it's absolutely been a joy to shoot with.

Video folks (which I suppose includes me) have loved Sony for making extra variable video. I decided to stay with Canon for the new RF lens mount, bought an R6, 24-70 f/2.8 and macro 35, and the EF adapter to use my old lenses. My video camera is a C70, which is also RF. I guess I'm committed at this point.
