The site says VERTICAL CONSTRUCTUCTION begins soon...
By vertical construction, PKI was speaking of the show buildings, not neccessarily the ride system or anything to do with the ride system.

Even though there will be construction updates as often as they can be given, I wouldn't expect there to be too many clues, if any at all, given by what we'll be able to see.

A video before you actually begin the ride? I hope it isn't like 007: License to Thrill or 7th Portal. I don't really feel like watching the introduction 30 or 40 times before i get on the ride...

I am a roller coaster FIEND!
Actually the first thought that came to my mind was that it was going to be something like, Escape from Pompei at BGW, all except TR:TR wont be a water ride (i dont think). Thats what the description sounds like to me, but most of us probably strongly believe its a motion based dark ride. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

CP in 2002, get to the point
Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be awesome knowing what wonderfull ideas pki comes up with. Hey, I was just thinking, wouldn't it be GREAT if TR:TR turned out to be a heavily themed floorless ride. I know it's not going to be a coaster and thats ok, but it would be cool to see pki get a floorless coaster in 2003. But it's still ok that it's not a coaster. Who knows, this could very well be one of the best rides pki has ever come up whith!!!!!!

Technifex has done work for the movie industry and at Disney parks. They designed and built all of the new tricks/scenes when Kennywood redid Noah's Ark. Also, for the first year of Lost Kennywood, Technifex did all of the effects/presentation for the now-defunct "Luna Phantastic" light show.

Just in case you care.

Why do I smile at people who I'd much rather kick in the eye?
-The Smiths...(and me)
Could someone please post a DIRECT link to request the PKI newsletter? I would love to get it, but I guess I'm retarded!

Thanks
Whatever type of ride it is, I just hope the ride is better than the movie. the movie was not as good as people said it was going to be.
OK everyone, LISTEN UP, go www.pki.com, then go to the bottom of the page and click on media center, next, when your in the media center, you will click on the advertisement that say 2001 archives. When you are viewing the archives for 2001, click on the picture of Tomb Raider where the guests are headed straight down toward the lava pit. So when the picture comes to full blast, move the curser all the way to the LEFT of the picture, in the backroud, you can see what the car looks like!!!!!!
I made a mistake, it 2001 photo gallary, not archive
Viewing from the photo, I'm wondering everybody, if you think this ride will be simulated, then hows come the car has shoulder harnesses?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somebody please tell me if you have seen it.
What if it is more like this ride, with extra themeing?

Supposively TR:TR is a heavily themed ride...but not a rollercoaster or a simulator. Its a ride that guides you along a track which isnt to fast. So you can look at all of the stuff that happens on the ride.
