How about smashing the record:

Starting at:
SFKK(7)-2 hour drive to...
CI(1)-20 minute drive to...
(possible 2 coaster stop at Stricker's Grove)
PKI(13-14)-4 hour drive to...
CP(14-15)-1.25 hour drive to...
SFWOA(10)
maybe could do 2.25 hours to...
Kennywood-(6-7)

That's up to a possible whopping 56 coasters if we made good timing(I think we'll be fine) and they would let us count racers(Gemini, Racer, The Racer) and SG will let us come. Wow! I want to do it! We can easily beat it, but I want to blow it out of the water! Any takers?

Everything above was my opinion. If you disagree, please respond in an intelligent fashion. But before you post,I warn you that some people say I'm just too smart to understand. Please take that into consideration.
I didn't see the show so maybe I just better be quiet, but I thought that Colossus ran both forwards (one side) and backwards (other side), and was that the justification for counting it twice? Or is it just a twin coaster, both forwards, like Gemini? I know we've had the debates before about whether twins are counted as one or two, but I thought the "official" consensus was that they were one (Gemini). What's up with this?

Would you guys be affended by the booing? I wont.
CrystalKat, Colossus normally has both sides going forwards. However, this group went near Halloween, at this point SFMM switches one train around (I believe that is what happened). The group actually rode it backwards and forwards. However, I think if they count that as two, then any racing dueling coaster would count as two.

well, they (those who were doing the booing)thought they might not get to ride. So if you are the record breaker, and can't understand something like that, then......

Hmmmm. Does any where in th rules does it say you cant rent a Beachcraft piper, or Cessna and Fly around or is it strickly ground. And why are we all forgetting HOLIDAY WORLD. and it would be easier to do it out west during January or sometime becuase maghic mountain lines are only walkon.

There is a Guiness site that has the rules, except I couldn't find the ones for this. Can someone please find them and link me? Please?
If you guys get this thing organized, I'm hopping on, no doubt.

I really don't think Guiness would count Kennywood's Racer as two. Not only is it not a forwards/backwards coaster, it's one track. Gemini I'm not sure about. (But hey! Isn't it running backwards this year? ;))

Do you really think discovery would *want* another show like this? I mean, it would get repetitive, and after just making one, I doubt they would want to again, and most people probably wouldn't be *as* interested in watching who saw the first one...

Yet another reason to add my brilliant gimmick -- er, idea -- of having coastal or regional teams. They haven't done one quite like that before . . . !
Why do the words "Kucha" and "Ogakor" come to mind when I think about that? ;)

Matt Lynch, who actually really likes that idea, and would try to jump on a team...
