Superman SFNE vs SFA ??

SFA's ride isn't so exciting in 30-odd degree weather. SFDL's was boring, where I was concerned. Too much downtime, not enough *up*time. SFNE's is the Mary Poppins of steel coasters -- practically perfect in every way.

What do I Listen-To?
I waited for 7.5 hours through four tornado warnings and all I have to show for it is this lousy kiddie coaster credit.

Andy - those coupons are non-transferrable. Sorry ;)

I was thinking that the Kleenex® was for clean up...
They are non transferable. You gotta keep an eye out though, there was a coupon in last Sundays Detroit News and Free Press. A buy one get a return visit half off deal.

I don't know about the half deal, the whole thing wasn't that large.

If given the choice I'd choose a hamburger over a hotdog anyday of the week.

So, in summary, SFNE S:ROS is the just plain wrong, blow your MIND, Oh my God that hurts so good, truly deserving of the praise, Be sure to take some cigarettes and kleenex, Mary Poppins of steel coasters.

Did I get that correct?

Yes, coasterguts. And if it's any less than that, I'll be very upset when I finally get a chance to ride it.
As will I Chris, As will I.
Well, thank you so much guys! Well, I am sorry about the "versus" thread. I am new to this and didn't know! Well, I get to ride the Superman and SFNE on the 29th I believe! So I am getting excited, hope your summer is going great!

S:ROS at SFNE is sooooo much better! especially with the tunnels, those really ad to the excitement level! Neither are as good as Millennium Force.

Neither are as good as Millennium Force.

Says you. I find SFA's S:RoS to be far superior to MF.

I'll be waiting for you in the alley... ;)

I agree...Millie has a great first drop but the rest is so dull I could take a nap! I'll take any of three Supermen over it anyday [and a slew of other coasters as well].

But, I have no problem with someone thinking Millie is better than the rest...we all like what we like.

Hands Down (up) SFNE has the Superior Ride, sadly SFA's superman was in storage in the back of Adventure World 98-99 waiting to be transported to SFNE, it never happened, they got the custom model we got the mirror of SFDLs coaster.

------------------
never met a coaster I didn't ride (except Junior Geminii) :(

SFNE didn't have room for the layout of SFA's S:RoS. Maybe that's why we got the custom model.:)

3-Yankee Cannonball

I really need to ride another Intamin to compare with S:RoS. Only other hyper I've been on is Nitro and all I could think was "How could people possibly rate this even close to S:RoS?"

Oh wait, I will get to ride another: Millennium Force in August (hopefully).

SFNE Freak: Beware of sentimentality as well. I know that AC, which was my first hyper will always get a nudge (large push) up in my rankings just because it was my first hyper. I assume that S:RoS was your first so when you go to compare other coasters to it, they'll never live up.

Hey this is my first post. but i would just like you to know that SROS at SFNE was voted the #1 coaster for the 4th year in a row in park world magazine. Iam trying to figure out how to get this magazine. So if you like SFA's SROS, then you will like SFNE, everyone that has riden both, liked this coaster more. Now i have only been on one. but My favorite coasters is Nitro and this one is my second. I think you will love there coasters but if you are going on the weekend in the summer i think you should get a q-bot.

Plus i have an email address that is srossfne@hotmail.com and my aim is srossfne. So you get it, it is an awesome coaster i recommend to anyone. Alot of people think it is the number 1 coaster, but i just like B&M better.

My two cents, just got back from my trip and i went on MF, SFDL, and SFNE supermans and i rate it: SFDL (#7 steel)<MF(#4 steel)<SFNE(#3 steel)<Magnum(#2 steel). SFNE was everything that has been said here, but i was once again privlaged to a night ride on Magnum, with no trims and a rain slicked track, the streach from the pretzel loop to the break run can not be beat by any other hyper. And before anyone asks Raging Bull was my first hyper.
