The "new" Superman restraints just have the indicator on the lapbar like Xcelerator. No other changes that I know of.If you don't know what I'm talking about, look at the little silver thing on the lapbar in this photo.
There is no silver indicator...Nothing was done to the restraints at all.

Short story...it's been shut down for some time, due to maintenance issues. It is expected to be shut down the rest of the year. The State of California is also involved, due to the Intamin restraint issues. There are shadowy rumors about the structure itself being suspect and not certified by the State (similar to the rumors about the Sky Tower) but that has not been confirmed anywhere in any way, shape or form (translation: Six Flags, don't sue me).Don't expect to ride it before 2005, or possibly never again.
Haha, Jokes on you...
coasterMNguy, STE is nothing like the impulses in my opinion, and isn't an amazing coaster by any means. Pretty much, you don't go to SFMM for Superman.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.
sfmm is known for using the bare minimum amount of ops for rides...hence the use of the "secondary" control panels on the outside of the booth for most large rides.
...and such

Perhaps you failed to notice that I already admitted I was wrong in this thread? ****ing tool.
Mike Miller - The CPG: The ORIGINAL flash mob
Actually, I'd just be happier if they get the park in good shape before I visit next year so that I don't have to beg mooSH to take me;).

When was the last time RR ran multiple trains? I love Six Flags, but one train on a coaster capable of running three is pathetic, especially in a park as busy as Magic Mountain. It would be excusable in the off-season, but not in the dead of summer.
You wont ever see Superman run both sides ever again. Its impossible to do it anymore. Why is something that just cant be posted on here:) No, its not cause it takes to much power, no because it costs to much, and no, its not for from short of staff.
People who know don't talk, yet, people who talk don't know...hmm...Interesting concept you got there. I give you credit for it:)
Unfortunatley, some parks, or rather I think all parks having something called an NDA. And well, you can't violate that.
Dude, you just totally contradict yourself in that first sentence.
You speak of a Non Disclosure Agreement. If you work for the park and you come on here and disclose that "Something else is wrong with SUperman", even if you don't say what it is, you are still disclosing priveledged info.
