Superman - any word on reopening date?

I checked all threads before posting this. What is the latest word on S:ROS opening? I noticed SF stopped its old man ad campaign which features S:ROS for a few weeks (in the New England area) after the accident but last night I saw it on TV again.
We don't have a crystal ball. Call the park. (See "When is Superman going to open" thread, etc.

So far SFA is the only park that has set a tentative date for re-opening of their superman coaster.

According to their rides info page if all goes well it should re-open on sunday june 6th,I havn't heard anthing regarding possible opening dates for SFDL's or SFNE's rides yet.

Apparently you're not checking the threads hard enough... it was noted that America's will open on June 9th, and thats the presumed assumption for the other Superman's as well.

Either way, instead of making another useless thread about this... why not just post the question in another Superman thread??

why are all three closed?, I know about the death, but I would have thought that only the one that the incident happened on

All three are closed because SF is going to make mods to the restraints. Check the News page for more info.
Since when did they change the date by 3 days at SFA for S:ROS's opening?

My guess is they didn't get the parts in fast enough to make the changes & have the ride opened by the date originally posted on the parks website...that's not suprising since they missed 3 tentative opening dates for Batwing back in 01.

If I lived in Vegas, I'd be taking bets on how many more times this topic is giong to be beaten to death.

So...when these rides open again, are they going to be just as strict on size as MF is now? *** Edited 5/23/2004 7:57:59 PM UTC by RavenTTD***
...and if I were psychic, I could make a fortune answering questions about which park was going to do what...

Dawgbyte11 I checked SFA's rides page today & they still have an opening date set for june 6th so you must've gotten the dates mixed up by mistake.
Here is some more info on Superman it seems they will be able to start running the coaster this weekend, check link below for info.

would be nice if they opened SROS SFNE this weekend, but you are going to see some looooong dispatch intervals, the line will be out the door!
SROS will open tomorrow, Saturday, with new restraints, new loading procedures and retrained staff.
The ride was making test runs when I visited this morning. I did not get a good look at the new restraints though.

Here there is a video showing the restraints. They don't look too bad..

They don't look bad at all. I just hoped they trained the staff to deal with PO'd customers who dont fit. :)

There are only 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who dont.
Key question (for me at any rate) -

Is S:ROS at NE likely to be operating on Tuesday 01 June? Sorry for being self-focused but NE is a hell of a long way from the UK!

518 coasters ridden but who's counting...............?
