STUPID GP! - CoasterBuzz

i know this may sound like a previous topic but it isnt. has anybody else heard the crap ive heard about wt. ALL WEEKEND LONG its just wt fell down or wt cracked and snapped. AND THEY INSIST IT DID .anybody else heard this crap as much as me about this?

lol. i heard something similar. on opening day at pkd, someone insisted that power tower snapped in half and that it was removed.

It is the same way with evreything, on this site, our hobby is coasters, but on a car site cars are the hobby, and we are the GP that says stupid things. You and I and everybody on this site do know that none of those things has happened because we devote extra time to coasters, but the GP doesn't. But in another hobby, we are the GP that says stupid stuff, just give them a break.

LOL Hey did ya know a car flew off the end of the track on Demon Drop and smashed the ticket booths? Oh yeah and Magnum is sinking but don't worry because Kings Island bought it and are putting it in there.

Hmmm so far these stories are very amusing. Eh, I remember some people thinking that they were ALWAYS right. I hate it when they go around telling people fake/extremely dumb info. Like some of the things you guys have already mentioned. But it's funny sometimes.......

I hate when I hear people telling false storys to thier friends. This past weekend in Iron Wolfs line at SFGAm this one girl next to me in line was telling all her friends she once go stuck upside down on Iron Wolf. All her friends belived her too. Ever since the Demon incident at SFGAm I have heard many many people say that in line because they think its a common thing. I also hate when some of my friends say it happened to them and I have to argue with them that they are lieing.

lol I'm glad this topic came up again.....While in line to ride Deja Vu a guy behind me was telling me how much better the park in Denver was compared to Great America and how he rode the same Deja Vu at Elitch Gardens. I couldn't help but laugh.

Hehe... how did you like that game last night? Go SHARKS!!! BTW, I think you have the "E" in the wrong spot, unless you are trying to be funny.

About the game last night, that was just a lucky break, not to mention, did you see San Jose's goalie plain out punching Forsberg for no reason?!? I would have flat out hit the goalie with my stick! Plus, remember game two?

But to stay on topic, I do see how it can be frustrating when the GP says stupid stuff. I here stupid stuff all the time and feel like correcting them but I must restrict myself. There is no way that the intire world is gonna know everything on rollercoasters, so I decide not to try.

The GP aren't the only ones without a clue. A TV station from Cleveland sent their helicopter out to CP to take pictures of the broken Vertigo. They didn't know what they were looking for so on the news they showed lots of pictures of Wicked Twister laying on the sand. It was before very much was vertical. A friend of ours that works at CP told us about this and still laughs about it months later. This makes me wonder how much they screw up the important stuff.
