Stratosphere has formally announced that its new ride will be called Insanity. The ride will swing riders 64 feet over the edge of the observation deck about a thousand feet above the street.

As for a "splash zone" I think itll be ok...considering its so high up and it involves spinning, i imagine any "liquids" will be dissappated before hitting the ground so itll prolly just be small drop lets...
I could see it now, tourists standing there waiting to cross Las Vegas Blvd..."is it raining?"...lol.

...apart from the small solid pieces of half-digested food which occur from the bad habit of not chewing enough when eating.
Perhaps the less traveled side (traffic wise) facing downtown?

If you listen to the video that accompanies the article, they say as well that they no longer have room on top of the tower for any more new attractions. Like I said before though, they can probably always find a way somehow.
