Straight talk on X's future: the real deal

Heh...yeah right. It seems to me you have very little knowledge about the engineering involved in coasters...there's no point in lying when we all know the truth.

Although coasterdummie can seem a little bitter at times, doesn't mean he doesn't know anything about roller coasters. I for one, believe him that he worked for Arrow. He's made a total of about 35 posts, so it would be almost impossible to see how much he really knows about coasters. How would you know if he really worked for Arrow anyway?

He's an ex-member now that he was using naughty words toward people. Maybe that's why he got canned, if he actually worked there in the first place.

Wait, so Jeff -

In simpler terms, does that mean you just banned him?

This kind of reminds me of three Thanksgivings ago when my grandmothers started throwing turkey necks at each other when both were trying to fix it the "proper way....." (no, that really didn't happen....). You know the old addage: "Common is as common does." (coincidentally, that's what my mom used to say when I was a kid and I'd blow my nose on the tablecloth.....)

Honestly, people, this isn't very entertaining. I don't care why anyone was banned, and if someone was banned, then it shouldn't be bandied about the site for everyone to see.

That's great news, but if it is true, why has all reference to X been taken off the website?

Jeff,

That seems very cool! I will be very glad to hear when X is back up and running. I shall be looking forward to it when I go probably in spring (or early summer) next year . Unfortuneatly that is almost a year away :-(.

To all other Buzzers,

It is interesting to ask about why SFMM has taken X off of their website. It would sure seem like they would be keeping it down longer. Another reason could also be because they do not want to face charges of false advertising.

That's an interesting point, yet I still feel there must be something more to it. They didn't mind having X info up all during 2001 stating it was a 2001 ride, although it really opened in 2002. Why would they suddenly feel like they'll be in trouble for a 2 week delay?

Can't this thing go any faster?

"If you can't find time to do it right the first time, when do you planning on finding time to do it over?"

I think someone forgot to put that poster up when they were building and testing X. Let's hope they get it right soon!

"When do you planning on finding time to do it over?" Excuse Me?

"With a grain of salt." I really have never gotten this saying, what the hell does salt have to do with anything?

You know right now, SFMM only has 13 1/2 (deja vu and no x) coasters? :) (buh dum tshhh!)

Only CP only has 14, beating SFMM by 1/2!

-----------------
Why do they report power outages on TV?

Screamscape seems to be backing up Jeff's statement about X being down a couple of weeks. Seems that Arrow IS in fact, working with SFMM to fix the train problems.

This makes perfect sense seeing that X, at least partially, still belongs to Arrow Dynamics. It would be in the best interest of ALL concearned, if X is up and running.

See... I don't post something unless I'm 90% sure it's for real, and even then I tend to hold back.

Anyone know what is going on with Arrow?
