stock info?

This may be a bit on "the far side", but is there any interest among the membership concerning the performance of stocks (re: six flags, cedar fair, etc.)? I check the business section in the local newspaper every day to see how they are performing. So, would it be too "off the wall" to have this information posted on the main page? I welcome comments from anyone else who finds this interesting.

It's not a bad idea, and I looked into it a little. The problem is that I've yet to find someone who will do free stock quotes. There are a lot of places to syndicate, but none that I've found are free.

I'm not much into stocks, but it'd be interesting info to see anyway. But I'd be against the idea if it would result in a significantly slower coasterbuzz because of any graphics or other stuff having to load. I'm sure that could be worked around, though...

Doesn't Fool.com give away free quick quotes? I could be wrong.
