It would be like 6Flags to sell cheap.

Im not saying at all that i believe this is S:TE, but you never know. Maybe the price listing is incorrect or maybe the whole listing is bunk?
I was also thinking maybe it was intended to be 1,250,000...possible?
^^You beat me to it. I thought about that price as well, but $12 million for a ride that doesnt really bring anything new to the table is pretty outrageous. For that price a compact B&M or intamin would be a much better investment. *** Edited 12/13/2006 7:05:01 PM UTC by Krypton***
Then again, I'm the one who said nobody would want a 1st-gen Intamin freefall, and they're FLYING off the store shelves...
Oh, wait, wrong SKU....that was the Gerstlauer spinning coaster. ;)

There's definitely a mistake in there. Equipment condition good? Give me a break... has it done 100MPH this century?
I don't think that means that it is broken- it means that Six Flags probably turned down the juice, or turned off some of the stators.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
So what should I pick? a 1,600 sq. ft. 3 bedroom ranch? Or a 10 year old 415 ft tall obsolete launched coaster?
Actually I'm leaning more towards that the listing is missing a '0'. What surprises me the most is that the fact that S:TE is up for sale and nobody has expressed any opinion what so ever on the possible removal of the ride that caused so much controversy on whether or not it was a coaster.
A few clicks of the next button and a 1973 Zyklon is running more than S: TE. If they are selling they are proably selling the one on the left because that wasnt running on my 5 trips to mm.
Ps couldnt six flags make more money off scrapping it than selling it

"You mean I'mma hafta spend 1.25M and I don't even get to count it as a credit?"
Where are the "credit nazis" when you need 'em for a(nother) good laugh... ;)
