S:TE do you like it?

Since you must be a newbie from your comments, let's get a few things clear. First off, how can a park be good with only a few coasters? You think that the only way a park can be "good" is by having 15 coasters (besides, most of SFMM's are mediocre anyways). What about Holiday World? There are MANY theme parks out there that are classics and to say they aren't good is a big lie.

Second, you have your opinions and everyone has theirs. If I want to say that S:TE is a bad coaster, I can! By the looks of it, S:TE is certainly nothing special. If it was, there would be more. Besides, S:TE doesn't even go up the full 400 feet. Most times, it barely makes it half way. Towers are different from the actual ride height.

Actually there are another two of these around, I know one is in Australia, but the other i'm not sure!

BrandonR, about 90% of the times I see it, the car goes at least two-thirds of the way up the tower. Some runs will "kiss the breaks" which are the last 20 feet or so of the tower. To say that it only goes up halfway most of the time is simply not true.

Had a ride that only went 1/3 the way up and then back through the station to the emergency braking area. So they did some work and sent us out a second time, still not high enough but stopped in the station this time. One more time to check everything out and it was ok. Best time I've had on the ride but it is still only a mediocre ride in my book.
