I hope you are just trolling and don't really mean any of this this. If I ever meet you in person I'll have a few things to say to you which would be innapropriate here.

Mr. Baruth. I have only one thing to say regarding the diatribe of snobbery you have just displayed in your previous post....Please remove your posterior from your proverbial "high horse".
Now.....based on this post, I suppose you can now guess my personal habits, attire preferences, and annual income. Correct?
ravenguy, mark probably means us Hamiltuckyians. We're often confused with the "hill-jacks" of the Deep Kentucky Hills. -rant begin- Never write off the lower class. Yes, their moonshine-making, chain-smoking, foul-mouthed devotions to Lynard Skynrd is very frightening, often disturbing. But many of them are genuinely nice and honest people(in a redneck sort of way.) And all this coming from a Hamilton (Hamiltucky) High graduamated schooler. :) -rant fin-

Honestly, those are the *realest* folks you will ever meet. You'll never have to worry about them being two-faced as they'll tell you straight up whether they like you or not. I can appreciate that. As far as the "attire" goes, I dont think it's limited to amusement parks. I've seen those type of clothes worn at all leisure-time venues: beaches, mall, ballgames, etc..
And the most popular place for foul-mouthed, alchol drinking, cigarette puffing, obscene-gesturing folks in my experience has been on college campuses.....
I guess the *poor folks* found a way to scam into the universities.

What this world needs is a few more rednecks
So people ain't afraid to take a stand
What this world needs is a little more respect
For the Lord, and the law and the workin' man
We could use a little peace and satisfaction
Good people up north you better believe
A little less talk and a little more action
And a few more rednecks is what we need.............Charlie Daniels

I feel as though there's a little misinterpretation of my post taking place-I have no problem with people of ANY social background, as long as they display proper social decorum. By proper I mean polite, courteous, and obeying the rules. I am certainly not implying that everyone who goes to a park should be aware of which plastic fork goes with which funnel cake, I'm just saying that you should behave in a manner which is appropriate for everyone around you to have a good time. That includes not swearing loudly, not wearing offensive shirts, not smoking in clearly marked non-smoking areas, and treating others the way you wanna be treated.

I find it amusing that people seem to dig through their closets and drawers and find the worst clothing they own to wear to their big day at the park. Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?
I'll have to stay true to my hill folk roots, and say "It's all right to be a redneck", (Alan Jackson). I may not be from down south, but being from the hills of western NY (where there are more cows than people), I'd say I'm, to use one our popular phrases, "prit near thar".
My family and I are just about as redneck as you can get being Yankees, but, we all manage good paying white collar jobs (*gasp*), that earn us good money to buy them theme park tickets. And yes, when I go on vacation I dig through to the back of my closet, and get out all my big comfy tees ( Dale Earnhardt, Jr. inspired), my baggy shorts and set out for the park for a day of roller coasters and cold beer. Two redneck favorites. But, after the end of vacation, I'm back at work in my business professional dress suites, my hair and makeup all done to perfection, working on the Facility business for the week. You wouldn't even recognize me.
My point? You can't always judge a book by it's cover.
Not saying there are not rude, low class people at parks. I just find that a good deal of them are what you would consider the "upper class".

I was at PGA on Saturday and while in the line for Demon, at least 40 black males just came and went right through the line. Everyone just moved out of the way, while they walked in between us, making their way to the coaster. Once they passed, everyone just looked puzzled and angry.

Those who think young say Pepsi please!
You did not have to classify them no one asked what race they were and they were probably music artist since they went through the line and didn't get kicked out and I would doubt it was 40 of them that is over exagerrating. Also teenagers is not the only ones who act rowdy I see adults acting immature. Ex. I was at sfgadv's with my sisters and cousin my cousin is very beautiful and she is 16 and a group of about 5 men that look like they were 24 and up started yelling and saying "Damn she looks good can I get your number " so it is not teenagers all the time.

That was Dwane Dance Studio, and they were given front f the line access everywhere that day, including infront of me on Top Gun. Don't ask me why a bunch of rejects got front of the line access, but they shouldn't because Dwane can't dance and that place is full of it.
I believe they were given it for doing or achieving something special at the park, but just because they won something doesn't give them the right to be disrespectful. The tgrue madness was when they used their privelage to get onto Stealth, which was where their supposedly was yelling and swaring.

You people need to accept todays teens becuase you cant do anything about it. Just like we teens need to accept people like you buging us at theme parks about this and that telling us all your teens these days stories. Or ruining a coaster for us by telling everything about it.
My point is everyone bugs someone.
And guess what. Its theme parks not Church.

Respect of one another is responsibilty of all American citizens which you find out when you study the Constitution. You are supposed to respect one another regardless of race, sex, religion, or lifestyle, now that is an American duty.
There is nothing about respecting fellow citizens in the Constitution. The Constitution grants certain rights under protection from the federal government, but one of those rights is not the respect of your fellow man.
I'm a homosexual, and if respecting my lifestyle is an American duty, then what's going wrong in this country?
What about women?
What about Muslims?
What about virtually all minorities in this country?

Im not joking at church you would act proper sit still and be the little angel. At a theme park I pay $40. Im going to be myslef. Cutting in line is not right. But this is the United States and you Coaster fanatics are not my parents.
If my mom says I can were baggy pants I will. Also just becuase you people say one thing is respectful does not mean thats the standard. The posted rules are the standard.
BTW dont give em the sit still.
We are teens not 6 year old geez.
I swear spelling and sentence structure are going to hell in a handbasket on these boards sometimes...

When you study the Constitution, you'll also learn about the responsibilities and duties of all American citizens. If you don't know that about your own country, that tells you why society is wack.
Then by way of the government our duties as citizens is as written:
-Obey the laws
-Pay taxes
-Defend nation
-Serve in Court
-Attend school (if you don't go to school up to age of 16, then you're breaking another law)
The responsibilities of citizenship are not as clear-cut as the duties. Because responsibilities are voluntary, people are not arrested or punished if they do not fulfill these obligations. The quality of our government and of our lives will diminish, however, of our responsibilities are not carried out.
Our responsibilities as citizens are:
To be informed
-Vote
-Participate in Government
-Respect rights of others-Respect Diversity and Tradition

I am now 28. When I was a teen, I was loud and cocky but I was NEVER rude. I kept bad language to a bare minimum and I always said my pleases and thank yous.
Teenagers are people too and need to be social with others but Why on earth are a few of them so darned obnoxious? I'm not aginst anyone haveing a good time as long as they behave themselves a little. That means no loud cursing, following cirtain rules that everyone must obey, and be polite just a little. Everyone should be allowed to have a good time at a park.
If you are one of the people who can't behave yourself in public, you are cirtianly not going to get anywhere in life. I know a lot of teens who know how to act and are very cool.
Let me just say that it isn't just teenagers who have the problem of being rude.
