Unforgiven by the GoGo's is a good song becuase it just gets me in the mood for a coaster.

hoo 'boot Lunatic Calm's "Leave you far Behind" off the Matrix soundtrack ("I wanna take you on a roller coaster", etc.)

Mailman by Soundgarden or, Grace by Jeff Buckley.

Captor of Sin would be awesome for a launched coaster, but my #1 choice for a launched coaster would have to be The Great Southern Trendkill by Pantera, just that scream in the beginning is a great way to set the tone.

As far as a coaster with a regular lift, I would have to go with Raining Blood by Slayer, just with the beginning with just the drums and guiter feedback and then into the rest of the intense song, killer right there son. Also To Defy the Laws of Tradition by Primus would be kinda cool for a ride.

Merry had a Little Lamb fits Nitro perfectly it really gets the adreneline pumping.

Can't believe the perfect song for a roller coaster has not been used yet. With out a doubt, "Kickstart my Heart" by Motley Crew is the perfect coaster song.

Here's a little list:

GNR - Welcome to the Jungle - Perfect as you drive into a park

Creed - Higher is a pretty good song for coasters
Linkin Park, Godsmack - two great choices
Metallica could work as well, and don't forget Distrubed. I guess some techno/house mixes could work for a few coasters.

Castaway by Green Day would go pretty good with maybe Gwazi, Kumba, or Montu. Mudshovel would be perfect for a hyper, and I also agree with Legendary when he suggested Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind, and Filter, Take a Picture. Also, Rollin' by Limp Bizkit...that's a given though.:)

Welcome To The Jungle would work with just about any coaster.  Lynch sorry about the Steppenwolf, wasn't sure about the spelling.  Anyways i've thought of more.
