songs that fit coasters

Some cuts off my CD I listen to on coasters are:

-Hit or Miss (New Found Glory)
-Right Now (SR-71)
-Semi Charmed Life (Third Eye Blind)
-Long Way Down (Goo Goo Dolls)
-Sandstorm (Darude)
-Take a Picture (Filter)
-History of a Boring Town (Less Than Jake)

-------------
"No listenin', you hear me?"
on the fire side of dueling dragons they should play Metallica's "Fight Fire With Fire"
These are the songs that I think fit perfect with any coaster: 311's "Down" "Can't Fade Me" "Livin' & Rockin'" and I think "Hydroponic" would fit PERFECTLY w/ V2, or SUE (even though the song is about drugs, it is an awesome song). If there are any other 311 coaster freaks out there please reply!!!

Actually, Born To Be Wild and Magic Carpet Ride are done by a group called "Steppenwolf," as opposed to a person named Stephen Wolf. ;)

Regardless, that's a great choice. There's a scene in one of the Star Trek movies ("First Contact," I think) where James Cromwell's about to blast off in his home-made space ship. Just before launch, he screams, "No! No! We can't leave yet!" The others in the scene are hurrying around, thinking they have to abort the mission...

Then Cromwell says, "No, don't abort it! I've got it! Let's rock and roll!" He pushes the play button on a small radio and Magic Carpet Ride comes blaring out of the speakers as they roar into outer space. Easily the coolest moment of all the Star Trek films.

I'm surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet...
"Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne.
I'm not sure if that is from Black Sabbath or from when he went solo.
Glidein:It's from his solo career. Captor of Sin, from Slayer would work for Hulk. It starts out with a lightning fast solo, and Hulk does get launched...

RagingBullGuy, notice the few staind fans here said Mudshovel, so they are most likely true fans b/c most people who jump on the bandwagon don't listen to the old stuff.
"Walking on sunshine", by J-Lo
DMB17, I don't know about that. Mudshovel is one of the few Staind songs I actually know about... and I'm not a fan of theirs at all, really. Wasn't that song a hit just last year?

how bout Suffer from Staind on OL:FOF. Granted. It would've only fit when they had the OTSRs. j/k

DMB17, you are right though, most people who became fans during Outside and Its been Awhile dont even know the other 2 cd's exist nor do they know ANY other songs on the new cd. those people make me mad. Anyways thats off topic but I just had to say it
Thanks for giving out some props to Zeppelin, Lynch! - and for running such a great Kennywood site. I wish some park in FL would give us woodie fans some love - you got three OLD-style woodies in ONE park. I am absolutely green with jealousy, but I guess I DO get B&Ms in winter (and Gwazi)!

Pardon Me-Incubus for Raging Bull. I don't have a real reason but that song fits that coaster. :)

Right here. I just got their new album and despite my low expectations it was actually pretty good!

Some songs remind me of coasters, and I haven't the faintest idea why. "Supervixen" by Garbage has always reminded of coasters ever since I first heard it.

While driving along the Cedar Point causeway I had just begun listening to "Caught a Lite Sneeze" by Tori Amos and right when I looked up and saw Millennium Force for the first time the harpsicord started playing in the song... it was kind of eerie. That song now holds a special place in my coaster-lovin' heart, even though I don't really like it anymore.

She's so High- Blur did a tune about 1990, avail on Food records UK.
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vita by Iron Butterfly. Not really the whole song, but the drum solo on the live version.
