i would have to say its pretty near impossible, but im no expert. it would seem that sob would have been a perfect candidate for the smoothness of the intamin track.

I realize that it would probably mean ripping up all the track and whatnot, but, in my opinion, at some point there has to be a loss-cutting alteration made to this ride. I work near Son of Beast and it's a given to see at least one First Aid truck a day make its way down there... it's only a matter of time until someone is seriously hurt, and then... it might cost even more to save face. Maybe the problem isn't as bad... all I know is what I see... but I can easily imagine a smooth, plug-n-play Sonny being on the top of a lot of enthusiasts' lists and this bad rap that PKI is getting disappearing instantly (the GP isn't as hot on this ride as it's stated here often... more complaints than anything come my way..)

Madly in anger with you...

Well, isn't the Rose Bowl the only part that would potentially need it? I wouldn't mind if the speed picked up in the second half of the ride either. I would just call up GCII and see what they could do for me with those Millennium Flyers. Maybe by 2005, we'll get a "renewed" woodie like PKI did with FOF in 2001. I know the park wants it to be (re)ridable as much as anyone.
