Snapping the Flyers

PPP is crazy. I really need to get into the RRC snapping matches. I do have home park advantage! :)

When I marathon on them I always get a fan club of 4 or 5 kids asking how I did that. Then when the ride op opens the gate they race to the tub I was just in. It's pretty funny.

It's all in the tub. ;)

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

It's not the number of the tub it's how you use it that counts! ;)
Ok, I haven't ridden flyers since 1996 at Kennywood and I finally got on some at PKD this summer. There was a guy on the opposite side of the ride as me and was trying to snap just like I was. Towards the end of the ride, we were both pretty close to snapping. I got a pop out of the deal as did the other guy. Everybody was looking at as as the cycle ended. It was quite funny.

Just thought I'd share that little story with you guys.

Yeah, I'd probably be good if I lived a few minutes from the park! Although Knoebels Flyers are so good, its easy for a beginner to have a good time. I think its harder NOT to snap the cables once you get a little momentum going!

Thats true Rob, sometimes the ride op will ask me to take it easy if there are a bunch of little kids riding. When that happens I just barely move the rudder for a mellow flight.
