Smoker escorted out of Six Flags Great America

A newspaper reporter drills a Six Flags Great America PR person asking why one of the newspaper's employees was booted for smoking in the park.

Read more from The Daily Southtown.

^They have a rule for no gum chewing or any other substance in your mouth.

If you return to the station house of a coaster and a rideop sees you smacking on something in your mouth, should you get tossed out of the park on the first offense?

Don't be irrational. My bet is this woman gave the employees a hard time about it.

Chewing gum is a problem as far as vandalism but it's not affecting anyone else's health.

Sigh...

If a place has a 'no smoking' policy, and you break the rule, why be surprised if they bounce you from the place? The first park i'd been to with a 'smoking area' policy was Dollywood. They politely escorted me to the smoking area. I didn't give anyone a hard time, and they were most polite.
