Smells and coasters?

D'ough!

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
Big Dipper at GL/ 95 degree day, the smell of suntan lotion mixing w/sweat and the grease from the tracks. My girlfriend notices too. then, while going up the lift hill, this guy in front of us farts a bunker-buster...
there was fear: like we and those behind us were in a vacuum. the stench would not leave!
we were all gagging and when the ride ended, we hauled butt toward the exit...
my girlfriend said she'd looked over her shoulder at the ride ops.
they looked stunned, then they looked into the cars... they turned green...

The smell of sewar gas-the exit of Raging Bull at SFGRAm.

Please wait for the ride to come to a full and complete stop. Push down, then pull up on your lap bar. Thank and enjoy the rest of your day at CoasterBuzz.

You beat me to it, ChiDan.

Another smell I always recognize is the fog machine on any Batman: The Ride.

Space Mountain, and most of Disney's attraction have a similar smell, kind of like stale air, but not that it's bad.

And Splash Mountain has a certain distinct stale water smell... again, not that it's bad.

YES, see now I know I'm not strange. I always thought the older Disney attractions had a certain smell to them, but I never said anything.

The smell of axle grease reminds me of working all those long OC shifts at the Adventuredome working at lift and chute of the water ride...

Kinda related...the smell of diesel fumes reminds me of waiting to get on the bus when going on school trips to SFMM, KBF, DLR, etc...

...and such

People always talk about Hershey smelling like chocolate. I spent three days in Hershey in 2002 and the only time I smelled chocolate was when I was eating it.

I was just at Hershey this summer you can smell the chocolate in the park. I also like the smell of the Beast in the morning.

Another good coaster with a great tunnel smell is the Lakeside Cyclone. As a friend much wiser than me once said, "I want to *smoke* that smell!!" ;)
